How do you get over a BPD EX?

I've had two in the last 3 years.

It's hard to get over because they push and push and push to get your attention and keep you that you think they'll never leave---even though you hope they would.

The last one as is typical, created these triangulated relationships: going out as "friends" with two of my friends.

These two guys are substandard thirsty beta orbiters. So when I finally had to leave after one of her angry text melt-downs, I was crushed inside to find out she went out with one of these "friends" of mine, got sloppy drunk and threw herself at him---the "Friend" told me.

It's been 5 months. ZERO contact. She tried to get my attention: stalking me, sending my Christmas gifts back with an angry note, parading a "friend" in front of me.

I'm getting over it by 1) knowing my ghosting of her was the best and only thing I could do

2) finding other girls and just moving on

3) framing in my mind that it was her and not me (read the Shari Schreiber blog)

4) when I did see her on the subway a month ago...I walked two cars away to get away from her.

It's hard because they throw themselves at you, then dump you for guys who you would never think would be your equal. That has a devastating effect.

Sex is always crazy with them. But in the end they devalue and diminish you and if you allow that, you lose their respect.

The irony of these girls is that you have to always be prepared to leave them and never come back...that sparks their own abandonment issues and competitive instincts to re-seduce you.

Which is why recycling is so common. No contact.
