How do you handle compliments?

I know the best way to receive compliments is graciously.

But how do you deal with backhanded compliments, or if not entirely backhanded, statements with a whiff of sarcasm.

"You're the smartest guy I've met dude"

"You're so good at your job"

"You're the best person in the world!"

A witty retort would be appreciated
