How do you kill the beta?

You must begin with repairing the foundations of your masculinity. I'm currently working on a "how-to" guide for this but I say it starts with awareness, then acceptance, and then begin taking the steps.

The first step after acceptance is to teach your mind that change is possible. I recommend a popular one of making your bed every day. It is an easy goal but you'll still feel good about yourself.

It will take about a month or so to build the habit of making your bed without even thinking about it, but what this does is teach your mind that you can take control of something and make a change. You will rewire your brain so that it believes in its own power.

I have advise for how to move on from that, but I don't want to overload you at one time. Start there, and post your update and I'll happily point you in the right direction after that.

Also, I've been recommending all men, especially recovering Betas, to read "No More Mr. Nice Guy" by Robert Glover. You can google the free pdf. Absolute must read.

From what I've seen with others and experienced personally, it's not so much killing the beta as it is overcoming the beta. You have to find your inner alpha, recognize it, educate it, and make the conscious effort to live as it. Through steady training and effort, you slowly become more alpha. Your body language changes, you become more confident, and your thoughts start to shift. You subconsciously start to view the world through the previously conscious red pill lens, and eventually your alpha is larger than your beta. You'll have the urge to do beta things from time to time, and your alpha will deny you by speaking reason into you. Eventually its as if the beta never speaks. That's when you've killed it. It may take days, it may take months, it may take years. It all depends on where you start, how adamant you are on changing, and how conscious an effort you make to negate your beta tendencies.

When I first read the rational male my toes were curled and I cringed at all the errors I made with woman and life in general. Some of it is hard to digest.

Keep reading. Keep growing. Keep hitting the gym. Keep striving to be better. The beta inside of you will grow more and more faint as the days go by and you have more real life experiences using TRP mentality

Couple things:

Your frontal lobe isn't fully functional, emotion/impulse will probably beat reason for the next few years. Learn, but accept that you're young.
The worst advice I got from family, friends, therapists, was basically to get in touch with my feminine side. So I'd be super open with all my emotional issues and I thought it was a virtue to show weakness. Since then, I noticed that my friends who seemed to have their shit together were feeling the same shitty things I was feeling, but they were able to self-soothe and use reason to get through it, they didn't show it. It's fine to talk about your problems with people close to you, but I think the ability to hide weakness from people enhances your ability to focus your attention on other things and get through hard times better.
The worst and longest-lasting emotional pain is more from reflecting on how you handled a hard time than it is the hard time itself. IE, if a girl dumps you, you'll feel shitty thinking about how weak you acted long after you're over the break up. If someone dies, you'll regret not being strong for them or for family long after you've accepted their death.

Don't fight it. It only gets worse and creates an internal struggle. Accept it and understand that everyone has a little bit of beta because it makes us human. Then keep killing it in life and that shit disappears.

You just have to realize that if your actions aren't leading you to your goals then you have to change your actions. Take "beta" and "alpha" out of it. If you're getting everything you want and feel you deserve our of life then keep doing what you've always been doing. If you're not getting what you want then change.

If youre failing and implement change then you still may fail. But failing is failing. You won't succeed without change.
