How long do you guys wait to schedule a second date/text after first date?

Schedule permitting, I try and plan the second within 5-7 days and text a couple days after the first to set up. I don’t think you need to hold yourself to any golden rule so long as you have a fulfilling life and aren’t inconveniencing yourself to go out on dates.

Next time, at the end of the date: Tell her to call you sometime if she wants to do it again.

Wait. She will call/text or she won't. You have to give a chick time to miss you, to think about you, to wonder what you're up to, etc. This assumes you're a high-value male. Familiarity/over-availability often kills attraction.

You can always try to reach out to make more plans in a few days (or whenever you feel like it... Your schedule should be filled with interesting hobbies and cool stuff you're working on. If not, fix that). It doesn't hurt to reach out as long as you're not chasing the chick. Contact her and be specific about when/where/what you want to do: "There's this indie concert at XYZ on Friday. Do you want to go?" And have a take it or leave it attitude. Don't be anxious, be outcome independent, don't chase... You should be centered, like a rock, because your life is awesome and you don't need a chick to complete yourself or validate your whole existence or whatever.

Then... She'll either say yes, no, or no and suggest an alternative meeting. If she just says "no," or doesn't respond, stop wasting your time and move on.

In the meantime, do awesome things, work out, and approach other women.
