I am looking at several options right now for renting a house. One prospect is closer in the city and is a 20 mile 30min commute to my work which is outside of the city in a rural area. I am not a fan of longer commutes but I am weighing the options of living closer to work outside of the city or moving into the city. I am single with several plates in my 20s so there are plenty of social benefits moving into the city.

I am curious within this community, those who drive to work everyday how long is your commute and long term would you recommend living further from work to be in the city.
