This isn't a post asking about how to approach, I'm fine with that. I'm asking how to make YOURSELF more approachable to everyone else.

We all have that a friend that when they're in public, guys, girls, everyone opens them up for conversation. But why are some people easier to approach than others?

I try to smile a lot while in public and walk with open confident body language, but no one ever opens me up for conversation, it's always the other way around. Is this an aspect I can work on or am I just not approachable and that's the end of that?

Here's some style/body context just so you can make a better analysts.

I'm 5'10, lean-ish 145lbs, dress causally(not business casually) most days, white guy.

So to summarize my question, what can I do to be more approachable?
