I am 27 years old, just graduated from a top policy school. I write a column for a local newspaper in my hometown, invited to local radio and TV shows, will be publishing a book later this year, have a decent follower base in Twitter and IG. Most of this was through my hard work but am pretty aware that I have had a lot of support from my loved ones.

The other day I was at a bar and a hot girl asked me: "Hey, you're the famous political guy from Twitter!". This happens sometimes but not always, given that most of my "followers" are older or people who enjoy politics and so forth. I have had taken advantage from this but not entirely abused (getting girls, being known at places). Stakes are high and your reputation must be defended at all costs.

Now, I have become habituated to modesty. Meaning that I am aware of my good work but try not become arrogant about it, there is always someone out there better than you and there's always room for growth. So whenever I hear compliments like people "recognizing my status", I give modest responses such as: "Thank you!", "Hope you like my content" and so forth.

I see lots of potential to apply TRP tools to these situations, just curious to hear similar stories or your insights. They seem like a kind of shit test where you have to assert your status or be comfortable with it. How would you capitalize on these comments and status recognition? Thanks in advance.
