Do not be too responsive to her mood. Be aware of it, but do not let it affect you and don't try to "fix" it. If you do that, you become weirdly beta to her feelings and women get a bit snarky and mean with you when that happens.

"I don't want to talk about it right now".

I disagree with posters who say this is not a shit test. If she didn't want to talk about it, she wouldn't have brought it up.

She wants you placate to her and validate her feelings. Don't do it. Don't become her emotional tampon.

Personally, I end the conversation there and then and go on with my day.

If she doesn't want to talk about it fine. If she does, ask her what she is going to do about it. It's her problem, it's not your job to fix it. Never get on the habit of trying to solve her bad moods for her. My gf knows not to be in a mood around me. If she is I just ignore her (read a book or whatever) and she always apologises later.
