Good episode. I like the approach discussed when your SO asks “can I go for a girls night out?” Or “a lady’s trip to Vegas?” If she’s gotten to the point of asking, she’s already decided to go.

"I'm not your babe" "Of course you're not" - said either sarcastically or not - make the call based on the situation. There.

You may want to put abuser in quotes here. All acts should be consensual at the time.

I think the reason I’ve been able to accept it’s ‘only my turn’, is internalizing the fact I will be another one of those guys that my current FWB/Plate(s)/whatever talks shit about after we are finished. About how I ‘used and traumatized her’, even though all engagements are consensual. It’s all about how they feel ‘in the moment’ or ‘right now’.

It always blows my mind to see such examples as to how deep the feminine imperative runs. No wonder men are growing up ashamed of their biology.

Is your dad my dad? Wow. I bought him ‘No More Mr Nice Guy’ over two years ago for Christmas, which he didn’t read. Any time I call him out - usually for being a childish pushover - he just changes the subject and it absolutely disappoints me. I think I just need to accept who he is. He won’t change. He’s on his second marriage and didn’t do a prenup because “well, son, when you love someone things like that don’t matter.” I can’t change him and I’ve given up trying. Don’t be a ‘promise keeper’ …

Puffy nips crew checking in. No one gives a fk if you don’t. Think of the reverse - do you care if someone else has them? No - of course not, unless they’re obviously self-conscious about it.

‘Captain-Save-A-Bro’. Damn - that was good. I stumbled upon here 3+ years ago while trying to figure out women. While not reading for a while, I implemented what I had learned (with embarrassing, but necessary results), What I ultimately found, personally, is spinning more than 1-2 plates isn’t worth the time and effort. As long as I’m getting my sexual needs taken care of regularly, I’m able to put more energy into personal endeavours. The problem arises when a man isn’t getting sex, and scarci…

Unfortunately, it 100% does. In any situation where you defend yourself or explain your case, you are essentially bargaining for her sexuality. It is important to be at the point where being turned down doesn’t bother you (enter outcome independence - where you don’t care whether she says yes or no). HOWEVER if she does turn you down (barring sickness, extremely unrealistic scenarios, times of grief, etc), you need to step up the dread. Never be so set on getting laid that you will be upset when…

OF COURSE she tried to make up for her fuck-up by ‘giving’ you great sex - that’s a pretty standard theme. Dump. This. Chick. Gaslighting is an absolute no-go.

You’ve already made the mistake of addressing the issue, which brings about obligated desire on her end (which is never genuine and what we want). If you intend on bringing this back (which is certainly do-able from the sounds of it): It’s time for some dread. What has worked for me is withdrawing attention. Do you live with her? Make a point of going out on your own, even if it’s simply to the library to read, or to go to the movie theatre to watch a movie on your own - it doesn’t matter. Do so…

They are often used unknowingly interchangeably. OP should also note that a negative test result for HSV does not necessarily mean a person is infected. My statement still stands. Source - https://www.stdaware.com/blog/how-do-men-get-tested-for-stds/

Of course you came back clean - Males cannot be tested for HPV unless we have visual symptoms. Women are tested via ‘Pap smears’. The only way we know if we have it is if we present with visual symptoms... many strains of Human Papilloma Virus don’t even effect us, as men. Tell her, as said below, how many people actually have it and that it isn’t a big deal (if you believe that... don’t lie).

I think it’s unfair to say nothing good comes from relationships. One would argue consistent sex-on-demand is a benefit, along with learning to calibrate yourself/habits to keep that going.

(Don’t be afraid to) set boundaries in friendships AND relationships. Set your frame and they/she will mold to it. She/anybody doesn’t give a fuck about you if you are weak. Weakness gets you sympathy from a woman, which is one of the great ways to dry up a pussy like summer time in Las Vegas. 3) You can vent and show weakness to true friends in a healthy, non-needy way but only if you are IN THE PROCESS of fixing your problems, or have already fixed them. 4) As men, it gets easier as you age. I’m in the same boat, man. Even though I’ve messed around with girls since and am currently seeing a great woman, I’m alpha widowed by a female from last year lol. We just have to internalize the fact that they were never truly special, we only brought out (what we perceived as) the best in them. I will repeat - you were the one that made her seem so amazing. So this means you can vet any woman/plate to be better than your oneitus. Oh and - she doesn’t give a fuck about you anymore and has taken…

She would do anything you want to please you, if you truly gave her the tingles. Once you’ve experienced a woman giving her entire being to you and engaged in mind blowing sex (I’m assuming you haven’t, if you’re still fucking this one), you will never settle for vanilla bullshit. Dread it up. Get ready to ditch this girl if she doesn’t pick it up because YOU are the prize.

Something else worth noting, is that they don’t want kids (unless it suits them). Although it’s never said, I have read too many stories of “child free” women being knocked up but conveniently changing their minds. I understand there are hormone changes, developed through evolution, going on that would lead the female to hold on to the fetus to ensure the survival of our species, but don’t think for a second that a woman would/wouldn’t abort if it didn’t suit her interests. Child free women I me…

This happened with the last girl I was seeing, but she didn’t tell me until we were on the date together. I ended up joining her to the plans and all was well. As others have said, she is probably just covering her ass and having an out (do women ever NOT do this? Think of how 50% or them have a back-up man). Don’t take it personally, be yourself and I even think you could end up getting the f-close while she cancels those plans.

I believe there are many a questions on this. It’s so situational and you have to weigh out the pros and cons. How old are you? What’s your physique like now? Do you plan on having children in the near future? Why do you want to put (inject) exogenous hormones into your body? Don’t take these questions as patrionizing - I’m in my early twenties on gear.

What a great way to ruin a marriage - receiving a gaming console with the purchase of an overpriced piece of rock that just shows how needy you are in the first place. Why not just buy the Xbox and ditch the wymmon? I’d prefer to play my Call of Duty in peace.

If there comes a time that it doesn’t smell terrible, tell her ‘your pussy smells (so) good today’ or something similar. She’ll then wonder if that means her pussy is usually rank. I always tell my girl that her pussy tastes good and I appreciate her keeping it ready for me, hasn’t failed me yet. If she doesn’t do anything to address it, I wouldn’t feel bad about dropping her.

In class, we had to answer when we would have rather lived/been born. I’m 24 and said the 1950s. Being in a class that is 90% female, I could not say the true reason - feminism. But I did say because of social media. I envy that you were able to experience that, OP, but not that you’ve had to go through such a decline.

In regards to the interview question ‘what are your weaknesses?’, i was always told to talk about a strength as if it was detrimental. For example - ‘I pay too much attention to detail’ or ‘I have trouble taking breaks’. Welcome. Being in your twenties in a dead bedroom, I think most of us will be giving you the same (harsh) advice. It’s important that you don’t think your situation is special and an exception. That wouldn’t have been a good response. If your girl has the guts to say that about you around family, she does not respect you. It is extremely difficult to earn that respect back, and usually never worth it. The best way to get that respect back is to never have lost it in the first place. You need to …

Obviously hindsight is 20/20 - but a perfect response to when she said ‘it’s like you don’t even have a wife’ would have been ‘you’re right; it’s like I have a daughter because you’re being a child’. Perhaps this will help you in a similar future situation. As you know, this was all due to lack of initial frame to start the relationship. I hope you understand it as a learning experience and is nothing to be bitter about. Be thankful you found out so young.

Because AWALT refers to a woman’s biology. They are capable of rational thinking and action, but it is all situational. Your grandmother logically understood that it was in her best interest to do what she did, and it’s a great thing. Albeit do not think for a moment that she GAINED any attraction for your grandpa in his time of need. It’s only her biology.

This is going to be unpopular. I get it. But it’s WHAT WORKED FOR ME (in combination with consistently hitting the gym, starting NoFap, and surrounding myself with the right people) Psychedelics (LSD, Mushrooms) and MDMA. Psychedelics gave me the experiences I ‘needed’ as opposed to the ones I wanted. They forced me to take a healthy look at myself and my habits, stripping away my layers like an onion. This is true. In my limited experience with single mothers, they tend to be sex-deprived and are just looking to unwind. It’s a win-win as long as you don’t catch feels.

He said that he can’t grow a beard. AFAIK HGH won’t significantly help with that. OP - I’m on gear (no HGH) @ 23 and the hair loss has started. I’ve just accepted it and it helps me appreciate it while it’s still up there. Going bald is not the worst thing in the world, trust me. If you learn to be thankful for not having a terminal illness and having all 4 limbs (which I assume you do), balding pales in comparison. Exogenous testosterone has increased my confidence immensely, as my natural leve…

Logically that makes sense. However, when you’re in so deep, like the husband is, your choice to be with that woman is part of your ego. So, when someone (who he has have never met before, I may add) tells him that ha wife has cheated with them, the man will instantly become defensive because the relationship/marriage is part of who he is. It just doesn’t work like that.

Yes. Key word - obese. They’re just too comfortable in their state and it’s sad that I’m sure it transfers over to all other aspects of their life. I always appreciate seeing disgustingly big people in the gym. Because you KNOW they are way outside their comfort zone.

Your examples don’t discount AWALT just because your grandmother and mother didn’t act on their (and I’m sure there were) biological urges. They logically outweighed the pros and cons while sticking it out for the long term. Keep in mind they lived in simpler times (no social media, feminism was less prominent). I don’t see why an LTR can’t be beneficial, as long as you don’t allow it to become unhealthy. It’s all situational.

A group of us 4 guys were out in the smoker’s pit of a bar last Saturday. We were talking about how much we appreciate our mothers, blah blah blah. A woman, one of only two people other than us in the pit, pipes up and says ‘what are you guys having, a support group over there? Men aren’t supposed to be talking like that’. I️ gave her a strong piece of my mind.

I do this to my girl - When we get back to my place, I tell her to ‘go wash up with the cloth I left you on the bathroom sink’. She knows what to do and then I don’t have to worry.

I have the same issue(s). As mentioned, get your T checked. Make it a goal to talk to 1 stranger a day (you will be reminded how good it feels) and then it can easily snowball from there (to 2 or more in a day), improving social skills/confidence even more. Some may consider this a crutch, and i get it, but what has also helped me is taking nootropics (piracetam and noopept). Might be worth looking into.

I’ll be doing this once I finish school this spring/summer. I am worried that maybe it’s something else, because I don’t want to use my hometown mentality as an excuse. Maybe that’s all it is. Looking forward to what is to come.

I have yet to put this into action, but one way I plan on setting boundaries (mostly in regards to doing anything that would suggest she is being unfaithful ie going out partying with friends regularly etc) with a plate/FWB-turned-LTR is by saying 'any woman who wants to be my main girl (this also does not mean exclusive) needs to make me feel truly appreciated while showing me she is 100% dedicated and loyal to me'. So, that isn't saying she HAS to do this, but it is how my commitment would be …

I can't argue with most of what you stated here. Personally, I don't find it worth the effort taking the time to prestige my social media account(s). I also usually choose to NOT add my plates/FWBs to my facebook. Creates more 'mystery' with as little effort as possible.

When he said she’s a virgin, I would have said ‘me too’. I haven’t had this exact scenario so I imagine the ASD is tough. But 4 dates to get to this point.. I think you should move on. Any time I have failed to escalate to sex in a similar situation (non virgin), I usually end up not seeing them again (by their choice). It’s better you make the call instead of her.

I can vouch for this. It helped me a lot. Restraining from masturbation in any form for 3 weeks, then moving to a once a week schedule (with no plates) led me to having the motivation to get some digits. Then it's just a numbers game (no pun intended) from there. Just don't let the motivation ever leave once you get it and start getting laid. It's easy to keep your ego safe and to become complacent. Awesome listen. You cut Rollo off a few times at the start, but it was less of an issue as the talk progressed. Wasn't expecting the hate towards Mark Manson at the end, but I still enjoyed this in its entirety. I liked the point made when discussing penis size and when it was said something along the lines of 'if it didn't matter, women wouldn't use it as one of the biggest insults to a man'. And that makes total sense; it's a nuke a woman will drop in a heated argument.

I have been in a similar situation back when I was blue as the afternoon sky, but not since. I don't think it would be a bad idea to treat it as a learning experience. The main thought that has me okay with being lonely is the fact that I'm lonely BUT aware. Imagine you were in a marriage with a dead bedroom and wife/kids you didn't even like and having your soul sucked from you day by day. Loneliness doesn't sound too bad now, does it?

I had braces for 2 years from 21-23 and would DEFINITELY recommend it. No ones gives you shit if you don't care about them. If anyone bugs you, just say 'careful, these are sharp' and flash them the metal with a smile to follow.
/r/askTRP22/07/17 01:43 PM

I would just use them as game practice. Use them to enhance your conversational skills, that's it.
/r/askTRP20/07/17 08:13 PM

No method is 100% effective. I should also add that not saying an exact time, rather a part of the day (ie late afternoon) gives you room to maneuver and won't make it seem like you are so needy as to change your schedule to fit hers exactly.
/r/askTRP20/07/17 07:29 PM

Yeah - how I typed it out is how my end of the text conversation goes every time. You very well could word it like that - I don't think that is a bad idea.
/r/askTRP20/07/17 05:44 PM

I always tell them I will text them. For example: Me - Would you like to join me for coffee late Saturday afternoon at (your place of choice) Her - Yes/No If yes, Me - okay. I will text you mid Saturday morning to touch base Usually works for me. I think having a fairly descriptive plan will lead her to actually believe you are serious. Ideally text as early in the day as possible before the meetup, so if she doesn't answer you can do more productive things with your time than get shown up.
/r/askTRP20/07/17 05:34 PM

I would say something along the lines of 'I need to be really sure someone is for me before I become official with them.' Make it known your commitment has to be earned.

Text and block her number. Make sure you have everything of your's so she can't dangle it in front of you. Best of luck.
/r/askTRP18/07/17 08:59 PM

If you want to avoid a mess, I would pack your things up and leave a day she is at work. Getting her to leave would be too much of a crap show. Ideally, smash in the morning before she goes to work and then go with the formerly mentioned plan.
/r/askTRP18/07/17 06:39 PM

Isn't it mind blowing how women get over breakups so much quicker & easier than us? I guess they're just wired to get over having lost men in battle, to animals, etc. I don't think we've ever developed the ideal coping skills after said event. Time will fix it man, she's just getting over it quicker than you are and that's okay (and natural). Take solace in the fact that she is devaluing herself at this time, and that she doesn't have many years left in her prime. (Depending your age) I'm assumi…

She could be testing you. But is playing this game with her worth it for what you hope to achieve? It seems like she has you by a string, as much as you don't want to hear that. The same thing happened to me a couple weeks ago - I had a girl sleepover but did nothing more than make out. I think I would give it a go one more time, try some push/pull, and if she doesn't take the bait - do not sleep over. I have made it a rule to never sleepover unless you have sex. I really like the idea of having beginner/intermediate/advanced subreddits. Beginner for those just learning and maybe struggling with internalization. Intermediate for those starting to see consistent success. Advanced for those who seem to always have plates spinning. I think it would help many of us lurkers that are only just beginners. There may be a lot more empathy and understanding, instead of just getting lit up with negative feedback.

The first time I have sober sex with a new girl, I also tend to get this issue. The more you do it with different women, the less it will happen. What I have found to help, is to not worry about getting her off. You're out to get yours, and she will respect that. TL;DR - Don't worry dude! It's a common issue and it will go away.

I was cringing that entire exchange with Olivia Wilde, because she's been in my top 5 for years. It was painful. It was just too unrealistic in that sense, and I think you really have to be able to look past the blue part of the movie and pick out the truth, how the world really works. I think every guy can relate to how he got, for lack of a better term, cucked at the end, and most men can relate to that so that hit home pretty hard. But, overall, entertaining movie if you pick out the red and …
