How to 'progressively desensitize' yourself before doing solo day game

Here's the program I made for myself to conquer approach anxiety:

Ask 5 strangers you're not attracted to for the time (old ladies, dudes, fat chicks). You can simply say that your phone died.
Ask 5 attractive girls for the time.
Ask 5 people for the location of a starbucks (or a sushi place if you're drinking coffee, which I was at the time). This will be a longer conversation.
Ask 5 girls the same thing.
Compliment 5 attractive girls. This step is important because probably for the first time in your life you're being congruent with a girl you saw for the first time. I recommend even doing this step up to 10. You can do pairs as well. Just go up and say, "Excuse me, I just had to say you look very nice today." and leave. You can mix it up, beautiful, cute, pretty, whatever you choose.
Approach 5 girls, compliment them and stay in the conversation. The easy way to do this is to "ask them what they're up to" after complimenting them. You're pretty much golden from here. Just keep approaching until you feel comfortable and your approach anxiety will be gone for good.

Edit: Making excuses like "asking for the time is ridiculous" is just your brain hamstering you out of approaching girls.

Exposure therapy/progressive overload can build you up to anything. You don't actually have to go to therapy, just take it babystep by babystep.

If you're not comfortable talking to strangers, at all. Just walk around alot, and when you see someone with a dog say "hey thats a cute dog" ask old people how their day is, compliment a guy on his shoes or something (guys freak the fuck out of compliments from anyone, even another guy). Then when you hit up a girl, shes just another person, tell a girl her dog is cute or something, and don't expect anything, just issue the statement. After that when you're very comfortable engaging a conversation with anyone about anything, do it to a hot girl, and then add on "by the way, you're really cute, wanna hang out sometime" or whatever bullshit you want after.

This worked 100000% for me, although I don't really like getting to know random strangers (even if they were hot girls), but every interaction i have with one is hugely positive because of my attitude. Despite what we tell ourselves, people are very willing and eager to hear what you have to say, think of it as a gift, not a burden.

Best excuses are situational, find something fitting to the situation

Last time I opened a girl was in a bank, it's been months and I can't remember it very well but my first line was

"Hey, are you here to get the millions of dollars from the will of your grandfather too? I'm too excited"

I guess it doesn't work that much in English as it does in the language this country speaks but you get the point

But, If you need an excuse, you should start doing it without an excuse

I've been cold approaching, slowly working up. So far I just ask for directions which I know is kinda stupid but honestly no one finds it weird, they love being your guide and telling me where it is. Then I check the vibe. If they didn't stop walking then obviously they aren't interested. Some girls fully stop and drag out the conversation so I just speak more and go from there.

Watch this, go out, try it.. (mind u this guys game isnt great, but if you understand, you will see where he went well, how he used a prop/peacock, where he went wrong. Also some great rp from the women, lol)
