We need to stop tolerating shitty behavior from women. She was over 30 minutes late, didn't even call/text to let you know, and still expects you to be available at her whim. Don't respond, erase her number, and go to the gym. The self-respect you show will pay dividends in the end with other women.

From my vantage point you took a really passive course of action. You’re not going to friend zone yourself with a simple text if you already agreed to do something together, so you could have reached out during the day and said “just got off work. heading that way soon” or “what’s the plan for tonight” or a number of things.

Instead it sounds like you waited for her to initiate (which she ultimately did although she was late) with a lot of uncertainty / speculation, and you weren’t satisfied with her approach so you went home instead.

Honesty is pretty critical here.

I would reschedule and tell her it's a shame she didn't have 2 seconds to cancel with you, because that would have been the right thing for her to do.

At that point she should apologize and you can tell her to refrain from doing that in the future.

Most people will flake, if she does it again just assume anytime she sets up a date she will miss it and always plan to do something else near wherever you were going with her or just flat out quit her.

No one should be rewarded for multiple flakes, but it happens now and then.

You have to expect a certain amount of flaking from young chicks these days. It's all very well taking the high road and punishing the entire female gender for their shortcomings but you'll be missing out on a lot of pussy.

My policy: If she flakes once, let it fly "no worries", radio silence for a few days then try again. Twice, ghost.

In your situation: Wait two hours, "hey! Busy tonight, another time"

Wait 4-7 days and suggest meeting again. This time she shows on time or you ghost.
