I trust people too easily and spill the beans. I used to think that it was me not giving a fuck about what others think or know about me. But it's starting to really hurt now.

Like if i meet someone. I act like i know have them for years and immediately start joking and stuff. They immediately become friendly. But sometimes some people with ulterior motive(people i work with) get me to spill the beans way too easily. Sometimes i manage to realize when a person is trying to get me to talk but most of the times i realize it too late.

Example :

Person : Wow! You've lost a lot of weight man. You look so much leaner now.

Me: Thanks! I've been following this new eating lifestyle called Intermittent Fasting where i don't eat for 20 hours straight and then have a 4 hour eating window where i eat as i like.

Person : Holy shit dude you're starving yourself! That's not healthy.

Me: *proceed to explain about IF, reddit, my life before and after.... *

That's an actual scenario that happened. Now everyone at work thinks i starve myself daily. Some joke(mostly my bosses). I just laugh it off and try not to explain myself but you get it. It's like i have to be on guard so much that i just stop talking which makes them think that i am now mad at them.

Tl,Dr : How do i STFU?
