When IDGAF at the gym, I become one of few dudes who blasts music loud, gets pumped tf up, and is huffing and puffing, wiping his mouth with his shirt, straight up overstimulated like someone on crack, eyes popping out, chest out while heaving etc. It's not even on purpose. I'm like that when I work out alone, but when I do it when the gym is busy, it's literally like my existence is a "fuck you" to everybody. On the treadmill, I do sprints, and I literally see that I'm the only one running at that pace on the machine. It's like "DUVVV" "DUVVV" "DUVVV" every time I make a step. I'm in good shape, do it's not a self-conscious thing, but I literally pop out. I don't think this is something in my head because I SEE it. I'm not assuming other peoples' opinions, I'm just stating my actions compared to others. Who knows, maybe I'm right, and others are too shy to just exist and go hard in the gym. But from my POV, it's like I come off as intimidating and tryhard (chest puffed out) when I'm literally just existing as myself, as I would when I'm alone. Like I'm not walking with my chest puffed out because I'm actively trying. I just push myself to that point.
