Understand what is oneitis and where it comes from. You can get affection and utility from women.

Affection is meant to be a fungible thing. You can get it from any woman, and it'll work the same for you. If you're in love with her because of the affection she provides, strengthening abundance mentality should wash the incipient oneitis away.

Utility, exchanging thoughts and that sort of stuff, isn't fungible, but you're not required to "love" or be monogamous to get it from people. That usually works as an exchange and this trade is called friendship. If you're in love for the utility she provides, bear in mind "locking her up" only applies to her affection (only to a specific form of it). I don't think this is your issue though.

If, by chance, she provides a lot of utility and affection and is requiring exclusivity on your affection, you're in trouble, because she's LTR material. Your only friend there will be the rational certainty that you want affection from more women - and you DO, you're hardwired as a polygamist - and willingness to let go of hers for that.

I think in this case it's better to try to control your actions instead of your emotions. Yes you might have a case of oneitis, you can try to cure it or you can just use it to your advantage. This lust, this passion, can easily be converted into sexual energy in the bedroom. Just remember what TRP taught you and don't be needy.
