I'm in the middle of writing a story. I won't get into too many specifics about it, but it's a young woman in her late teens. She ends up staying with the male protagonist, sort of ending up in his charge. Later in the story she ends up falling hopelessly in love with him while he initially rebuffs her advances

She's sort of shaping up to be an action protagonist, someone who is capable of swordfighting and acrobatics (jumping and stuff). She's extremely polite and considerate towards others, especially her elders and doesn't quite fit the bill of the sassy female protagonists that most stories today are trying to put out to fill up the 'strong female protagonist quota', but it would be a far stretch to call her 'arm candy' or a sex doll.

I noted that I wanted to make a 'balanced' female protagonist, because quite frankly I'm getting sick and tired of people saying 'well, I see the fact that there's no strong female protagonist, so I've decided to write one!' It's gotten to the point where 'strong female protagonist' has become a trope in of itself.

Anyway, I just want some advice, or just a TRP perspective. Thanks
