You need SMV, confidence and easy to identify intention.

Majority of people fail Cold-Approach because they don't make their intentions - as in "I'm attracted to you and I want to fuck you", clear. They do this weaksauce crap where they give her the benefit of doubt - "maybe he wants to just be friends??".

If you're approaching a woman you need to make your intention that you're attracted to her clear. After that it's up to her if she wants to reciprocate or not. The important factor here is pressure. You need to pressure her to the point where she can no longer lead you on, or play stupid games women play with betas. You ain't got time to waste because you got shit to do.

Its not really about just approaching. It's about everything else you do to make that approach a success. You could have shit SMV and approach 200 girls and get 10 lays or have great SMV and aproach 20 women and also get 10 lays.

It’s very effective. I’m 3/3 out of last month. I only do it when I’m really attracted to a woman which isn’t that often.

With cold approaches, woman judges you on the spot of what she thinks it’s your smv, on indirect approach or other types you can build some comfort and smv to lower your chances of a hard no.

Yes, that's probably accurate. If you're approaching and just slapping dick on the table or not being congruent and displaying shaky subcommunication, you will fail. Does that mean you shouldn't approach? Hell no it doesn't, it means git gud fagit and offer value when you deal with people. Most people are value leaches.
