Have you been seeing any of the articles coming out over these past several years about how you shouldn't compliment your children by telling them that they're "so smart!" and "so talented!", just these "amazing" little geniuses? Instead, you should compliment them on their actions and work ethic. It's the same thing with women, unless you're in a certain situation where you can tell she needs a compliment to feel secure about going out.

When To Compliment: Is she not feeling confident going out to a gala as your date, as many gorgeous women are going to be there? Tell her that she looks very pretty, through complimenting something she put effort into (e.g., her hair) or time (e.g., her dress) into. It makes her feel good that her effort was appreciated. Did you just have some great sex? Tell her that her ass looks amazing and kiss her deeply. She just gave it up to you for a reason, you have to give her a taste of appreciation and admiration.

I also like it, and do it a lot. Complimenting, building your women up, it's one of man's sacred duties.

In my opinion the following are the healthiest ingredients for a "red pill compliment":

It's surprising, unexpected. She has nothing to really connect it with, she can't see what your "angle" is, what you get out of it, and you give her no opportunity to think the compliment over. It's almost like you throw your 2c down her deepest unconscious well and leave her wondering what that wonderful feeling was, by moving on to other things before she processes it. Say you're meeting your favorite plate somewhere: "Sweetie, you look fantastic, sexy hourglass. This way, there's something I wanna show you..." Huh? Sexy hourglass, what?? She can't make the compliment happen by fishing for it. Nothing she does makes it happen, and there is no set time you're going to do it. The advice to shut up and not compliment women mainly has to do with the initial stages of the seduction, where perhaps you've just met her, and you might be dying to say how amazing you think her hair is. Deep down, it's because you think saying it will make her like you more - a great example of what you don't want to do. As long as she is not invested in you she doesn't care, your compliments will fall on barren soil - and only a blue pill fool wastes them like that.

One exception to this for me are social compliments that are very off-the-cuff and are understood by all parties to be pretty meaningless pleasantries, but pleasant nevertheless. When she is a girl who is useful to you, when she has a history of being good and loving to you.

Think of the girl as if it were your wife, your daughter or little sister. Praise her for how well she does her homework, how well dressed she is, how good she is to you, how proper she is, how she is a lovely companion, how useful she is to you. Is she useful and intelligent and wise and shrewd and loving and lovely? Then praise her for that. No? Then punish her by not doing shit for her. Tell her what you like and what you do not like about her.

Never ever praise anybody for being or having something. Praise should be always, always be in the context of actions. It should be brief and to the point. Praise a women if she's actually doing something that brings value to you and gets you what you want. But don't do so consistently. A compliment that someone expects to receive ahead of time is worse than none at all.

The fact that you're laid out next to her, totally drained of your energy, and not awkwardly trying to put your pants on so you can leave, is compliment enough. It's OK to express your feelings in a genuine way afterwards, but don't make it specifically about her ("holy shit I can't move......")

Compliments just don't accomplish much.

If she wants a compliment from you, then she already likes you. If she doesn't care, then she doesn't like you, and telling her how perky her tits are isn't getting you any closer to seeing them. Compliments simply don't lead anywhere. You should be building rapport with her, hitting the ball back and forth over the net until you can jump the net and lead her to the clubhouse.

Later, if you get into an LTR, you can tell her some things you like about her, things that reveal as much about you as about her. "You know what I like about you? That you always seem to know when I need to be alone for a bit."
