You may have read my last post, "Fucking up in my finest hour, and everything after". Well. Here's a follow up.

I don't initiate with the girl. She'll message me, but I try not to start chats to suggest abundance. And I think she's getting mad that I'm not giving her attention but I'm still new to applying theory and she very well could just be abusing my perceived beta side. Idk.

A conversation yesterday went something like this:

Her: "Do you know [former bandmate of mine]? This is very important."

Me: "Yeah, why?"

Her: "Is this still his number? [Screenshot of a phone contact] I just wanna reconnect. We stopped talking a while ago because I had a boyfriend."

Me: "How do you know him?"

Her: "Tinder, lol! We talked for like a year then he gave up. But I wanna talk to him again. Can you just tell him to text me?"

Me: "We don't really keep in touch lol"

Basically the band split over creative differences, and I kinda blame him. If she's trying to push my buttons here she's made one hell of a good try.

Her: "Tell him anyway plz."

Me: "I'm not doing your dirty work lmao."

Her: "Ughhhhh. U r lame."

Me: [laughing emoticon]

[Gap of about 4 hours]

Her: "Plz"

Me: "I thought you said he gave up?"

Her: "He gave up because I had a boyfriend lol"

Something about that "U r lame" tells me I'm doing something right. But what the hell is she up to?
