So I'm a 17 year old male from Australia (I don't know if where I live makes a difference) and I have been borderline anorexic for pretty much all my life. It's never been dangerously skinny, and I don't consciously avoid eating food, it's just what I've been like my whole life I guess.

Anyway, I've decided to start hitting the gym, and see a dietician to sort out a proper diet for me to eat to gain weight and bulk up a bit. Obviously because of my weight, I am not in any way what you would see or think as "strong".

So basically my question is that, will I get judged by people in the gym, who see me, a scrawny white kid, lifting probably only 1% of what they can do? Either consciously or unconsciously it doesn't matter, will people think less of me?
