Lately I’ve noticed that I’m fine when it’s come to casual relationships nowadays (after lots of practice), but at work it sucks. I recently just got an offer here, it’s been 2 month, things still new but I get to know everyone since it’s a small company. I work as an auditor.
Most of the time when I talk, somebody’s just gonna talk over me, take credit for my joke, brush off my opinions, take my work lightly like i’m some kind of a joke, won’t corporate with me (since my job is to find everyone’s mistakes).
But when I hold my frame, confront people about their shits, it’s too harsh and too much. They don’t take it so well.
It’s a nice place in general, people are nice, they just don’t respect me because I’m the youngest one, the pay is good, the boss is good. I just don’t know how to hold frame without acting like an asshole or being too soft like a little bitch. Either ways it’s bad. I’ve read 48 laws but still i’m struggling at work. I don’t have a dad, so any suggestion for male model figure at work is awesome.
Any advice for me?
Please excuse my broken english.
