On Friday I'll be having my first (Tinder) date. It will be at 8 PM, in her city ( 1,5 hour traveling ) and we are just having a drink together. I've no earlier experience with dates/sex aside from some kissing years ago. I've been reading the sub for months, but now the real 'test' is coming I have some anxious moments every day. I am the same trying to set other dates up, to reduce the pressure but I want to prove to myself that I've changed by having success with this one. I can't complain about my life, I lift, I lead, I study, I read and when I look in the mirror I feel good about the person standing there.

When will I succeed in my opinion? When I wake up next to her the next morning. What if it doesn't happen aka I fuck up, big red flags or she isn't interested? So be it, her lose.

I'll go right-away for the hug when I see her and put my hand on her back, I've not traveled and hyped myself up and then not go all out. I'll try to get a drink somewhere with her, first round is on me. I'll try to let her do the talking, try to make her qualify herself, make clear that she isn't my only option and make some cocky jokes here and there, do some kino, go for the kiss and eventually say we should go to her place. From there on I'll try to escalate further and see where I'll end up.

Maybe this sounds to scheduled and planned, but I don't want to get in the (unlikely) situation where I've got everything going for me and put it all in her hands because I don't know what to do. So basically I don't want to be

Does anyone got any "last minute" tips, recommendations or things I have to to be aware of?

UPDATE: yesterday the day before the date I texted her: "Hey ( her name ), don't forget to put on some nice clothes tomorrow. " I texted her that because I had the feeling she would flake and would not respond. So it became Friday, still no response, but she was online and had read the message.

Time passes and I decided not to travel to her city and keep a radio silence. It became 8 PM , the time of the date and I was curiously waiting if she would text me something. It's now 9:30 PM and no response of her yet. So she flaked.

I am disappointed? A bit, but I am more surprised to see first hand how cold people can be. If I were in her shoes I would have at least send a message with that I am not attracted anymore or some BS like that. It looks like a girls attraction lasts as long as the memory of a demented.
