Frame huh. I've been studying this myself for a while. I'll try to give you some insights but in no way am I super successful. I just feel more socially aware of it and my interactions with the people I know are now 2-3x easier.

Theres at least 2 charisma on command videos about frame on youtube and from there check the recommended list. The more you learn about it and look for it IRL the more aware youll become. Its like someone who know nonverbals vs. someone completely socially clueless.

Frame is changing the interpretation of reality of a conversation. It could be done in any way you want and even suck but youre flaunting power or nonreactivity in the subtext. It can be done through misinterpretation, ignoring someone's statement, teasing or any other techniques. A lot of it actually sounds eerily similar to the shit test concept. Theres way more to it, but comedy is an easy go-to for reframing. When you're confident and socially aware, this happens naturally because you can reframe things effortlessly. You're also more likely to "hold frame" (keep your own positive interpretation of reality) if you actually believe in your own frame delusionally. Reframing without inner confidence doesnt work in high stress situations.

Harmless example (frame not so important): Friend: bro did you seriously wear that? You (no frame): yea... so what You (frame): i dont remember if i was feeling serious when i was wearing it. ill have to get back to you on that

Good example (frame is useful): Guy hitting on your girl when he sees you come, then he looks at you and says: "oh sorry... I didn't mean to make you feel threatened hahaha" You (no frame): "it's okay" or "buzz off" You (frame): "well its hard when youre looking at me with those fuck me eyes. its like youre ready to ravage me any moment now."
