If you like the way things are now dont change them. Money is easy come easy go. Why not invest that cash into something and live off the savings. To do that you will have to continue to live the same lifestyle for at least a year etc.

If she still sticks with you and nothing changes during that time then I would keep her around for sure. If she gets pissed your not living the lavish lifestyle then next her.

You're the only one who knows the relationship well enough to decide that. Make a decision yourself based on rational consideration of your experiences with one another. If the 50/50 dynamic doesn't change then I don't see a problem. If it does, you drop her then.

You'll never have to work a day in your life again? That's awesome, because that means you can do whatever the hell you want. You should still work, because the alternative is sitting around burning through what you've gotten and getting bored.

If you're working a job you enjoy, keep doing it. If you think there's something else you'd rather do, you now have the freedom to go do that, regardless of what it pays.

I also agree with the above poster. Invest the majority in a low-risk portfolio (you don't need to make money, just beat inflation), and give yourself a monthly allowance.

As far as the girl, it's up to you. If you're happy with her, keep her. She's proven she's not a gold digger, now that you have money you'll have to spend the rest of your life watching out for that if you leave her. I'd keep it 50-50 like you're doing now. If she's working, she should be cool with that since you now have the means to handle any sudden expenses or emergencies that come up. No reason to change your dynamic. If she's dead set on changing it, that tells you something about her too.
