I don’t lift. The question is should I? Here’s my situation: I’m 17, 5’8”, 135. I’m kinda lean. If you looked at me you’d say I’m fit. I have a lot of muscle tone. Not as much mass as I would desire though.
Every morning I wake up at 4:30, have breakfast, bike for an hour, do a small 20 minute core workout, I plan to start swimming for about an hour as soon as my shoulder heals. I’m normally done with everything by 8:30. Then I work from 9-4 washing dishes
I’m worried that adding lifting on top of all of this will overwork me. Another concern is being able to use my mom’s car to go to the gym on a consistent basis, and another is the membership fee which I will be paying myself.
I really am unsure. I’d like to hear advice other than “just lift”
