Hey guys, been reading and swallowing TRP for about a month or two and have a quick question about a LTR to be and losing frame. It's a simple situation, but I felt like afterwards she was treating me as if I had lost frame.

I am in a nursing program at an undergraduate university, and one of my professors sent back one of my writing assignments with various grammar and punctuation notes. While resubmitting the assignment, I was texting this girl that I've been talking to for about two months about the notes that this woman was leaving on my essay. This girl is very educated, intelligent, witty, clever, and all the other good characteristics we would expecting in a potential LTR. So, I figured that having a conversation with her about outsmarting my professor in terms of grammar and punctuation on my professional writing would be funny but also a demonstration of my intelligence to get more points with her. I played it like I was really frustrated, but comically so. Showing her lots of examples of what the professor had instructed me to correct and explaining my rationale for why my professor was incorrect. She agreed with me for all of it, however, afterwards it felt like she was treating me as if I had actually lost my frame due to my pseudo-frustration.

Afterwards, she became distant and did not really engage me in conversation so I stopped talking to her. After she triple-texted me I began to reply to her again. Did I handle the situation correctly? Or did I actually lose my frame while trying to be funny?
