So I just entered an LTR with this girl M, who I've known for like a year and a half now and has been my plate for most of it. Our LTR has been like 3 weeks long at this point.

I went to a party last night, had fun, it was chill. But today she messages me telling me she wants to talk and if we can meet up.

I have plans already, so I tell her that if she wants to talk, she can call.

M calls and she is crying, I tell her to call me back when she's not crying anymore because I'm not going to take her seriously. She calls back and stops crying, and tells me that she feels like I don't want to be seen in public with her because I didn't invite her, so pretty much a TFTI blown out of proportions.

We talked and I held frame, didn't apologize, and we agreed that in the future we could consider what the other is up to when one of us goes out and extend the invitation and I told her that in the future if she wants to have a serious conversation about anything, she won't be crying.

So my question is, should I hit her with a soft next for a day or two for this shit? How do you deal with it when your LTR gets upset over nothing?
