Me and my LTR of 6 months have been working on the whole "respect" thing. I'm (28M) in Africa on a 2 month deployment. She's (23F) in grad school. She has problems with communication with me when she's in the presence of alcohol along with other outside stimulants (i.e. bar, lots of people, etc.)

Log story short, she started the night off well by texting me and sending snapchats and what not. As the night wore on the conversation was relegated to 3 word texts only every hour or so with the final one being "Heading Home". Now, being the sweet and respectful LTR she is, she usually calls me before she goes to bed.

No call. No text. No fuck you. Nada. Turns out she got a little drunk at a friends wedding. Slept part of it off in her car, then proceeded out to the bars with a few friends from the wedding. All to end the night at one of her girl friends houses. So she calls me in the morning, I inform her that her actions were disrespectful and are not those of someone thats interested in a healthy relationship. She starts off by not understanding what the problem is then finally relents and agrees it was disrespectful but just can't understand why she did it. I told her I needed some time to re-evaluate our relationship and she should do the same.

Fast forward 4 hours. She's called me 6 times already. I haven't answered.

So my questions are: was this a shit test or is this behavior indicative of an ineligible LTR? should I ghost her for a couple of days and then gauge the situation, or answer her next call? any better recommendations on how to handle this?

I understand AWALT but I still think there are girls out there that can be good LTR material with the correct skills on my end. I'm interested in seeing how this plays out if I respond with the correct application of force.

TL;DR LTR tests boundary. Handle it by ghosting for a couple of days or some other means?
