You have to learn what things are worth sharing and how to share them. Why do you feel the need to tell women how you used to be a chump?

I haven't read models yet...but I think its the same point as in "The art of seduction". You should appear vulnarable with woman from time to time. Let them feel like they have control over you for a bit. Let them think youre soft. Sort of revealing your feminine side.

All of this in small doses and from time to time. While it will give her the impression you're vulnarable, you are actually gaining more attraction from her.

All of the above mentioned is only to be used as push pull play. I don't think its a good idea to ACTUALLY OPEN UP about real life feelings and anxieties. Those things might turn her off. She'll appear helpfull at first....after it will start to burden her and she'll go looking gor a stronger male.

I remember a big discussion about this book.The conclusion those guys had was to fake the vulnerability, kinda like Chad taking a picture with his puppy. I don't remember much but being vulnerable isn't going to do you any favors and faking it is just gonna get you a few "awwww how sweet." Not a good idea.

Nobody here can tell you how honest you need to be. But I will say this Mark also notes in his book that you should never be honest for any reason other than to express yourself honestly. What I mean by that is, don't ever be honest with the expectation that you will get to something in return. That's a covert contract.

And really Mark's points about honesty are mainly about honest expression. He doesn't mean emotionally vomit all over whoever you're talking to. He means express yourself and your intentions honestly. If you think a woman looks hot in a dress she is wearing, you should have no problem telling her that because that is an honest expression.

Interesting because I'm reading models right now and was thinking the same. I don't think what Mark is saying is to be 'emotional' or 'weak.' I believe his thesis is that a truly 'Alpha' and confident male is someone who understands his short comings and is 100% ok with them.

I think trp is sort of split on this. Some stick to strict guide lines and strategies to help them become more confident men over time, but in doing that are not truly themselves. This in turn creates relationships that are reflective of that. Plating is a good example. See her once a week, don't open up and keep searching for more women. This is a good thing to do in practice. It provides a lot of validation for you as a man and allows you to start understanding what you want in a partner. However while placing limitations on a relationship you develop a very specific type of relationship. Which may not be as fulfilling as one built upon you being 100% yourself and receiving everything you want from a partner in return.

Frame can be honesty. Being the fun, driven prize in a relationship of any level does not mean you can't be honest with them and yourself. In fact in my life I've found of all the self improvement I've made in my life, honesty to myself, friends, plates and LTR's has been the most rewarding.

Don't blab on about your insecurities when you meet someone though. When you trust someone and they give you everything you want, open up a bit.
