This is something I've always kind of believed is way overstated and more rare to actually experience than folks online here seem to state.

Now the obvious reply to this would be that you simply arent attractive and women arent noticing you / actively avoiding you.

For added context im a 27 year old 5'10" male in the United States, medium density city located in the Midwest. And ive attched my "Hinge insights" which is roughly 7 months of usage all the free version. For those not familiar the free version only gives you 8 likes a day.

Overall in that peroid i sent out 820 likes to get 200 matches. As far as actual dates, somewhere around 25 or so in that time frame. Some of which came from bumble/tinder but after the initial months of those apps the quality of matches seemed to drop off hard so hinge was basicially all I used towards the end.

I list these off not to brag but to inform yall of my relative level of attractiveness, while I dont consider myself in the elite tier of looks by any means I feel quite sure that im comfortably above average. Ive experienced dating apps As a 19-22 year old and had a very bad time where nothing other than pure luck and timing seemed to be the onlything that could land me a date.

And now that ive leveled up the difference between datting app sucess at different levels of attractiveness is truly night and day. However the point im trying to make here is that in the same time my experience in real life has virtually remained unchanged.

I know women rarely actually approach, however it seems to be common belief that they will give you subtle hints ranging from hovering in your area, making eye contact, smiling, and things in that same vein.

In reality the most ill ever notice is a side glance so quick that you could never really be sure if it was intentional especially because she is a total stranger. Albiet I dont frequent parties/bars where alchohol is involved so this is more places i frequent, Gym, grocery stores, coffee shops, local parks, etc.

So ladies are these approach signals even a real thing?

Are they only reserved for an elite class of men ?

And Do they only exist in alcohol fueled environments?
