Honestly, here is the lifestyle that I have adopted: Make a dating profile that is short and to the point, like a billboard, and put it across as many dating apps as possible. Just let it sit there. Don't tend to it. Get into some hobby or interest that you always wanted to, or an old one that you have neglected and miss doing. Do it as gratuitously selfish as possible. For instance, get to a point where you will willingly turn down other plans that seem trifling in order to further pursue that …

If you ask a woman, the average man would be far below average - according to the data.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/23 04:55 PM
1

Nope. Sneaky. Do we have to bring out the dating data yet again, which shows how realistic a man's perception of "average" is, versus how unrealistic a woman's perception of "average" is?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/23 04:08 PM

That hasn't been true for more than a generation.

First, how do you think the stay-at-home moms started? They started as stay-at-home girlfriends, but that's not even what the trend is about anyway. If you at all want to have a stable marriage and children by the time you are 40, that is something that you need to start working towards in your 20s.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/23 10:37 AM

Men want women to not FEEL like they "settled" or lowered their standards. Men want a "6" woman to be perfectly fine with being with a "6" man - without complaint or regret.

Well, that's me. We should exchange pictures to see if we find each other attractive. Off-topic, though. What level of education, and why is that important?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/23 10:29 PM

Actually, that's a good strategy. If you don't do anything, you can't be disqualified because of it.

"Eat soup"? "Be a Gemini"? Each of these women criticize these trifling matters as if they are absolutes, and as if they are speaking on behalf of all women. What if I happen to unknowingly step on one of these landmines? Can I expect to be ghosted, and blasted on social media? Do you see how these insignificant matters have nothing to do with a potentially healthy and loving relationship? Do you see how men are frustrated - some to the point of just giving up out of futility? I'm better off jus…

You're being reductive. Keep in mind that I had no problem with her stance on the issue. But, she demanded that I change my stance on the very personal medical issue to agree with her stance. My body my choice, right? But, what about all the green flags and hurdles that I surpassed before that? Should relationships involve both parties being agreeable and understanding towards each other? Perhaps with some compromise? "Reasonable"? Hardly. It happens, yes. But, I would be hesitant to call this b…

If you were a completely whole person, you would not need or want a man. You actually would not need or want any other human being. But, assuming that you do need or want a man, that is presumably to fill some need or want. Based on that, what is it that you desire in a man, and how do those desires translate to filling those gaps?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/03/23 06:05 AM
2

Those individual things for you, how do those things in a man fill the gaps between where you are, and where you want to be?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/03/23 05:45 AM

A woman finds a man's value of her important, then. Does this fill a gap between where a woman's self-esteem currently is, versus where it should be?

Why do taller men turn you on? What does a tall man mean to you? If the answer is something like "safety" or "I want to feel small next to him", what does that chemical activity look like in your brain? As for the professional man, a plumber, electrician, and carpenter are considered to be professions. Would you consider that kind of man, assuming that they were ambitious and hard-working in their professions?

The joke refers to being combative - in reference to the post that I replied to. The disagreement between her and I was about an individual and personal subject, which wouldn't affect the other at all. Basically, a difference in opinion on a debatable topic.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/03/23 05:08 AM
2

If you prefer a man who is at least six feet tall, then why? How does him happen to be six feet tall satisfy any particular need in you? If you want a man who is in a professional career, then why? What does that detail translate to in your head?

Well, let me try to help. Is the good and constructive life because of a man, or despite a man? Either way, which specific attributes should he have, and how do those attributes work towards your goal?

But, to what end?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/03/23 04:37 AM

Men also want, above all else, peace, affection, loyalty, and intimacy. So, where is the disconnect? The disconnect is the combative part. My most recent false-start of a relationship - some two years ago now - ended because she kept testing me and giving me ultimatums. Like the woman in the Steve Harvey clip, each of these tests and ultimatums were based on her experiences with previous men. Never mind that, based on how she described them, I easily surpassed each of them (which, frankly, is ea…

Also extremely trope, which is why I asked to avoid the words on the page, and look for the meaning and desire that the words represent.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/03/23 04:25 AM
2

That is the conundrum. Men are the gatekeepers to relationships, and women are the gatekeepers to intimacy. Intimacy is temporary, in that it only has to be given for as long as it takes for the man to offer a serious enough relationship to the woman, where the consequences of ending it will outweigh his desire for intimacy. If women suddenly refuse intimacy, should men then suddenly refuse a relationship?

It's brutal in society, yes. A society that invented the word "autism", and which claims that such behaviors are uncouth. Meanwhile, behaviors like getting lost in creative thoughts, and a severe attention to detail, probably helped early humans to survive.

Honest question. If you are a genuine person, and you have attractive men pursuing you, and you have been vetting them, and believe their intentions are honest, why haven't you partaken in any of these long-term relationships that have been offered to you?

/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/23 06:44 AM

Yes. This is typical. It's really a collision of three different things, in my opinion and experience - because (while I'm only slightly above average myself) I go for girls like your type. First, all the things that you listed off are extremely attractive to men. So, there's that. Second, men's attraction towards women who are towards the top of the scale lessens for those ultra-attractive women. This is an often-ignored aspect of the dating data that we all talk about. On average, a man's attr…

I'm going to mention the existence of this post over on Purple Pill Debate, but only as an experiment to test their rules. I'll have to do it in a very generic way. They are pretty strict with links and crossposts, so I'm going to use this as a way to test the system. Just an FYI. If they allow me to mention your experiment over there, I'll crosspost it or reference the original source in some way.

There is a Nestle plant six blocks away from me. It's where a majority of their salsa is manufactured. I hear that they pay very well. I also live within a few blocks of a hospital, police station, and fire station. And, there are ample small-store businesses dotted in between. I disagree. Men naturally want to build their own fort, fight evil, and have pretty girls like them. These things aren't available to them in real life anymore. However, some of the biggest games ever are Minecraft and Elden Ring. Halo WAS huge, until Cortana turned mean.

Like resorting to shooting an Arab out of boredom, machismo, futility, or delirium. What was the line from "The Stranger"? When the main character was facing death, he looked at his girlfriend, who was a vapid soul, and said something like, "You will never live a single day of your life".

I mean, if something is right or wrong about half of the time, then that means that there is nothing special about it. If the chances are 50/50, then that is raw randomness. But, I do think women's intuition exists, but it is subconscious. I have some examples of women who I work with deciding to either hire, promote, or fire someone, only for it to be thought of as an error later. But, was it really an error? One woman I work with hired someone for her team because she thought that she would be…

The good news is that everything in the universe, including the movements of societies, function like a sine wave. Once it goes too far in one direction, like (real) memes being akin to mental viruses, the pendulum will swing back. What society will look like when it does swing back will be very interesting to see.

Yep. It sure is. CBS, NBC, and ABC will always be referred to as the "mainstream media" - even if they are not actually mainstream - but I watch a whole mixture of content creators across several platforms. Some of these creators have weekly views larger than CNN. And, this topic comes up A LOT.

See what? You are being too vague here. I think your opinion of what vicious behavior looks like is heavily weighted one way. I mean, there is the gray area of unattractive women just not being treated as nicely as other women, and that being seen as being vicious, in between your two extremes.

Men are straight up vicious to women they think are ugly Whoa. Wait. What? I think your view here is highly sensitive, and in a biased manner. I would like you to elaborate on this statement a bit, preferably with examples. My counter-statement would be that men tend to treat all women better than they sometimes treat themselves - no matter the level of a woman's attractiveness. "...giving up your power..." This is not the first time I've heard a woman refer to a relationship as a power struggle. Very mentally unhealthy way to approach relationships. Don't be so combative. Just take the damn compliment. As for your edit. No. You don't get to tell me to not compliment you at certain times, but then to compliment you at other times. I don't owe you anything. I'll compliment you if I want to, or not if I don't. Are you strong enough to handle that?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/23 10:22 AM

Naw. It's not a smart strategy. Let's see how these women do when they turn 35 and still don't have a husband (but now want one), but men don't want to put up with them at that point. Are single 30+ women on TikTok really the happiest? Women on TikTok are begging good men to finally save them.

I watched this video, and that was the main thought going through my head. I was seriously weighing the man - mostly because I have plans on doing something similar to what he did. But, I came to a couple conclusions: We, through our Western eyes, see her a beautiful mostly because she's exotic. But, the same goes in reverse for how her society views him. Really, when you wipe away the Asian fetish, she's pretty plain looking. I think they match in the physical attractiveness department. He was …

Totally agree. There are a few problems that are insurmountable, though: As a middle-aged single guy, even though I keep situational awareness up at all times, and I dress nice and have good posture, I feel extremely self-conscious about going out alone. I feel that this is as much a "me" problem as it is a "you" problem. I know women here will immediately try to negate this point, but women are also scared of going out alone. But, theirs if more our of fear. I am absolutely positively sure that…

Well, you took that sentence out of context. It links innately to the rest of that paragraph. Who is telling you that it isn't about physical attraction? All the women who tout the confidence of a man to approach and flirt (and missing it when it doesn't happen in today's society). But, yeah. It just deals solely with sex, and a majority of women finding a majority of men to be unattractive. Just admit it.

What if I referred to unattractive women as being creepy? But seriously, though. Since we are being frank here about female nature, we know that female nature is very finicky about what each female finds to be physically attractive in a man. So, a man who finds a woman attractive and makes a move to strike up a conversation, as the first step to maybe having a relationship with that woman, that man has no idea if that woman finds him attractive. That's why. I myself have several incidents in my …

I honestly believe that women on average just don't like men that much. I also think that they tend to be afraid of them. But, the thing about only 5.9% of men reproducing I think is a misreading of the data. It's only 5.9% of men's DNA that has survived through the millennia. Not the overall percentage of men who ever reproduced. I mean, we don't see DaVincis and Simonis (Michelangelo's real last name) walking around today.

What a reasonable man is expecting is something like 70/30 from both himself and her. The exchange rate between America and Morocco - where Casablanca literally is - fluctuates. But, at times, it is 1:10. If I liquidated my life and moved there right now, I would be a literal millionaire. Also, the country speaks French. That's cool. I've been passively learning French for fun, but also for this possible or probable future of mine. So, that's one country that I'm looking at. The only weird thing is the difference in economy than what we are used to in the West. Housing is very ex…

Aren't these considered to be baseline human expectations, though? If you give these to friends, family, and coworkers, why would you not also extend these considerations to a potential romantic partner? Even though they would not be a romantic partner yet, they are still a sole human being who deserves such considerations.

I would like to point out that the way the main question was phrased, and how women are answering it here, is from the perspective of what a woman currently in a relationship currently provides towards that relationship, whereas, your answer not only sounds hypothetical, but it is also phrased in a way of what you as a woman can get out of a relationship.

There was a personal internal convergence of sorts that prompted me to ask this question. Just as I was trying to figure some stuff out, I watched a clip from Tamron Hall (she's a daytime programming talk show personality - I think), and she had a female dating coach on that said something that synergized with what I was thinking about in my mind. I did not realize this, but men's purpose is the "Three P's": Protection, Providing, and Procreation. The female dating coach went on to say that all …

Not true. It was not illegal for women to have credit cards or bank accounts. It was a policy that some banks had. There were all-female and only-female banks and credit unions, because this policy that some banks had left a gap in the market that others exploited. It was the law of 1974 that said that having that policy was discriminatory, and that it's illegal to do.

Oh you just want American examples? Women couldn’t vote before 1920 Neither could men, either. Voting is something that is reserved by the US Constitution for the states to figure out. Some states required you to be a landowner - when a lot of men did not own land, for example. But, some women did own such kinds of properties as hotels, brothels, and farms at that point. /r/PurplePillDebate05/03/23 03:21 AM

Because what women find to be attractive varies pretty widely from woman to woman. The explicit instructions are all over the place. If a man were to try to be desirable to even just most women (which is the point that you are trying to get at) based on what women said, it would cause some sort of psychological break.

First, the women involved with "West Elm Caleb" were doing the exact same thing as he was. And, they attacked his employer, trying to get him fired. I don't think Caleb ever made a social media post about the situation, but the women felt the need to - for whatever reason. It's this hypocrisy, and the anger, that women show that is unreasonable. Your post is kind of all over the place. But, I will respond with trying to answer it, while being within the spirit of (what I think) is the main point you are making. Men's standards for women are already lower than what women's standards are for men. Ask any reasonable man. All they want from a woman is a woman who is nice to them, a center of peace for them, affectionate, and loyal. Basically, just be a good human being. Do we need to go over, yet again, the stringent requirements women ofte…

Cavill gives off ACE vibes and has a peculiar affect. Complete lack of emotion in his expressions and zero sense of humor of fun. It’s weird to me that red pill men use him as example of a very attractive man. He's a handsome man because he's a handsome man. Oh, he's definitely neurodivergent in some way. Not a doctor here, but one does not need to be in order to see his peculiarities. But, being neurodivergent doesn't stop women from swooning over him: Women swooning over Henry Cavill He is pro…

Well, that argument is glossing over the "not all men" exception. You certainly have bitter angry ugly men. Men who were teased and abused, and just really don't like people because of it. If there is a guy who is tall and handsome and cleans up very nice, he is going to get a lot of female attention. If he is not a good guy, he will take advantage of those women, because his thought process probably doesn't go any further than, "Well, all these women want me. I better give them me," - either in…

Are men angry at the very attractive men for turning the women off from the apps? Yes. I don't really agree that your main assertion is correct. There are a lot of assumptions. But, taking this question in a vacuum, the answer is "yes". I'm MGTOW. Red Pill and Feminists are enemies of each other, but they are both enemies of mine. I see both polluting the social fabric as a whole - not just the relationship realm. It's toxic, and no one is going to win. If I'm MGTOW, then why am I here? Why do I…

Actually, it is. You are not looking at the data correctly. It's percentages. So, if 1 percent of men are getting 4 percent of the attention, then those men are getting four times as much attention as the 50 percent of men who are getting 50 percent of the attention. Yes, men tended to gravitate towards the top of the scale, but not drastically. It was something like women in the top 25 percent got 50 percent of the attention. And, it was still a bell-curve. Slightly off-center, but still a bell…

The data that literally shows that men grade women's attractiveness on a near-perfect bell-curve, whilst women judge men's attractiveness very lopsided and harshly. It's where the whole 80/20 comes from. If you honestly have no idea what I'm talking about, just say so. Anyone can easily find it - although I'd rather not have to spoon-feed someone who seems to be starting off at a place of incredulity.

It’s possible that people just have a poor grasp of statistics and that’s why the term “average” is so often misused. It's this right here. When asked this question, it seems like a woman's range is what is considered to be average in her head. As in, the archetype guy that she would be 50/50 about. Since we know that women have longer lists of requirements, and failing at just one of those requirements is enough to disqualify a guy, that 50/50 guy has to be above-average - statistically speakin…

You and me the same. This topic has come up a couple times before, and I have come to two possible conclusions: Yes, many women are sharing the same few men. Women don't think of themselves as "single" because they aren't currently looking for a relationship. The truth is probably in between there somewhere. Something like: Feminism has convinced women to focus on pursuits other than building healthy and supportive human relationships, and to artificially inflate both themselves and what they lo…

So, you cannot contract sex, but you can contract a relationship. A man can be punished for such legal terms as "abandonment" and "desertion" if he decides to have sex with anyone other than his wife, but his wife will not be punished for withholding sex from him.

Nope. Adultery is a felony sometimes in places in the world other than the US, but, yes, adultery is a crime - with varying definitions and seriousness across the world and across the States. Maybe not realistically prosecutorial, but it will definitely become a factor in court as far as meting out punishment. Is there legal recourse for a man when the woman withholds intimacy? I see the points that you are trying to make. I would retort with simply that there has to be some overlap. Women don't typically willingly give sex to random men on the street, and men don't willingly offer relationships to women on the street. To do so would be mentally unhinged. Both sides are seeing if the other is worthy of sex or a relationship - the main thing each side is looking for (generally speaking in very, very general terms).

I’ve heard that men all want sex and women all want a commitment… I haven’t seen that actually play out all the time. Yeah, it is a bit more complex than just that. It's more like a series of Venn diagrams. Generally speaking, men want sex, and also affection, and the ability to provide for and protect a woman, too. Women want attention, and to feel special, and to have a physically attractive mate to potentially procreate with. Both want assurances of these facets within the confines of a stabl…

Adultery is a crime. Some places still consider it to be a felony. There are also other legal terms of "desertion" and "abandonment" that the man is subject to if he decides to have sex with anyone other than his wife - which also include the facets of feeding, housing, and protecting the wife.

Then, legally, the money that goes into that relationship to pay for the sex is also illegal. Can you contract a relationship? Whether your answer is yes or no, think in what forms that takes place currently, and other forms that it could take.

Still avoiding the question, but let's go down that route. According to the data, men pursue women all up and down the scale, but, they judge women's attractiveness in a very statistically even way. If women did the same, then the relationship percentage would be much higher than it currently is. Last I checked, of adults in America, it was something like 2:1 relationship:single. Since there would be two people in one relationship, that means that the ratio is actually 1:1. This is because, when…

Okay. Well, thank you for the explanation, honestly. I think we all kinda knew this, but I think you are the first person to put it so succinctly. But, that doesn't answer the main question. Not only that, but let's say a guy decides to go that route. It will probably end in shame, embarrassment, and guilt, but they try to do it anyway. Then, how? I mean, outside of Las Vegas, isn't prostitution illegal everywhere? And, yes, I'm sure it goes on even though it's not legal. But, like, where? This statement is implying that men are typically prone to use that strength against women, and that women have no defense against it. Your math is off in that the 3:1 ratio works the opposite way than you think it does, but I realized that I was more replying to your post than in keeping with the essence of this thread (and I should have said "one-third as many women" - because obviously not all women are on dating apps). The main post was a bit rambling and contradictive, but the main point of the post is that women are much, much more likely to get the above-average man that they w…

Well, I mean, the title of that article is, "These statistics show why it’s so hard to be an average man on dating apps". And here is the text at the point of that graph: Aviv Goldgeier, an engineer for the dating website Hinge, recently analyzed the share of “likes” on Hinge that went to the most-liked people of each gender. He found that inequality on dating apps is stark, and that it was significantly worse for men. The top 1% of guys get more than 16% of all likes on the app, compared to jus…

Women: "If you want a romantic relationship with a woman, you should start out as friends with the woman, but avoid the 'friendzone'. You should have some female friends, because not having any female friends is a red flag - but, not too many female friends, because that is also a red flag...What did you say? You actually just want to be friends with a woman? That's impossible. All men want to have sex with all women."

Not very far at all. It's kinda why I'm single right now. I know what the "rules" are, but they conflict with my personal outlook on life, so...I'm single. The first one, I am going to wordsmith your phrase a little bit, and instead of the word "embellish", I am going to use the word "defend". I love my career and hobbies, but they can both be eccentric. We sometimes don't choose which directions they go. We just follow wherever they lead. So, I feel that I sometimes have to explain why I really…

I am a fan of MXRPlays. They have a couple subreddits here, and a popular YouTube channel. The main folks are Henry and Jeannie. They have a cadre of producers and editors - all female. They sometimes have a group reaction collaboration video all together. They did one of these group reaction videos about a year or so ago, and it was interesting. They were reacting to various TikToks and subreddits. At the very beginning, one of the women exclaimed, "No dick jokes, Henry!" That was followed up w…

Set up a situation where a lot of women are not choosing to mate even with their equivalent male counterparts, press the "play" button, and see what happens. I'm not saying it's fair. I'm saying that the poster above only proved one of the main points, and that that main point is going to be very detrimental in the long-term to everyone. But, it seems like it is something that our society just has to go through.

Honestly, all things are dependent on each other, and nothing happens in a vacuum. Nations depend upon an ever-increasing population for their stability. One of those reasons is because most of the social programs (which I am in favor of at least the most basic ones) are Ponzi schemes. There has to be an ever-increasing number of new people entering in at the bottom of the pyramid to support the people at the top of the pyramid in order for the society to remain stable. Different societies have …

I don't think the frame of what constitutes a "shit test" is that strict. It shows the mentality of the woman. Combative and prone to complaining, or bored enough to start drama - if not directly towards the man, then to other women. Either way, it drips with negativity. Basically, if it feels like a shit test, then it is a shit test. What even is the point of that phrase, except to sow negativity? The phrase itself doesn't even make sense. No offense, but I'm going to match tone for tone here. Don't flatter yourself. Not every man wants to stick their penis into you - especially with an attitude like yours. Some of us are busy. Just because we smile at you, share a laugh in public, or ask you which coffee flavor you prefer at the kiosk that you go to a daily basis, that doesn't mean that we want to see you naked. I don't think WGTOW is a big thing because I view the two sexes in human society like this: There is a circle in the middle consisting of women. Well, here is some critical thinking for you: Women often talk about hormones influencing their emotions and behavior. Then why are men shamed for being aroused when testosterone is a male hormone? If all women are different, why are men constantly told to know how to treat a woman? Why is it more socially acceptable for women to hate men than for men to hate women? Since dating apps are a low-key psychological experiment themselves, I'm all for trying new creating things like this with them. Some dating apps prioritize you based on your level of usage. Oxytocin might be a big reason why women repeatedly choose poorly when it comes to men. They choose the ones that give them tingles - not necessarily the most honorable men - and continue to choose that same type of man over and over again, in pursuit of those tingles.

Typed out in two dimensions, and considered in a vacuum, your statement is technically reasonable: Even if you don’t like their choices, even if they constantly make objectively bad choices about who has sex with them and other men are driven to suicide because of their lack of sex with said woman. The crux is that the solution to lonely, sexless men’s problems should NEVER be a woman losing freedom of who enters her vagina. And we get to criticize you for making these horrible choices, repeated…

Women think this for three reasons: They had an above-average guy before, so they think they deserve it now. When they hear the word "possible", it translates to "probable" in their head. Women are very competitive with each other, and they don't want to come up lacking in the eyes of other women. I forget who said it a few years ago - someone famous - but they said that women will die alone before they date at their level or lower.

My long-term plan is to retire early and move to another country. No, I'm not rich - not in the least. I have a house that I can sell for a profit. I have a 401K that I've been contributing to for the past twenty years. And, I would not make this move while my parents are still alive. I'm 46. My parents are a very healthy 76. I hate that children have to bury their parents. I'm dreading that time. But one has to come to terms with the inevitable, and that is probably about ten years away for me …

Yeah, they are chopping this up and segmenting it. Like the human body, most organs have a specific individual purpose, and all are needed for the body to survive. Individually, they shrivel up and die - including the body itself. I'm MGTOW, and I'm fighting against the stigma of it. The way I interpret it - literally to the word of its name - is that I better be capable on my own, without anyone, including women. No reasonable man in their right mind thinks that they are guaranteed a wife. No man would want a wife that was guaranteed to him. We know we have to put in the effort, and we want to. All we are asking for in return is the opportunity, and to not be treated with suspicion and fear.

Men typically don't get angry out of jealousy towards other men who seem to have more. If you see guys interact, you'll see that it's more of a communal thing. Conversing, demonstrating, and asking questions. What men really are is frustrated about how women treat them with disdain, disappointment, suspicion, and fear.

Well, first off, I believe that males are more prone to suffer from learning disabilities than females. So, there's a privilege right there. But, in this specific instance? It's more intangible. People are more willing to help a woman than a man. And, if a man isn't productive, he is judged harshly for it - much more so than a woman. If there is an emergency, the woman is more likely to get attention before the man. If a woman starts yelling, people come and look. If a man starts yelling, they t…

As a counterpoint, I would say that a more applicable and topical example would be China right now. Due to their "One Child" policy (which was only lifted a few years ago), China has the worst ratio of men to women, I think, in the world. This is because many infant girls in China were abandoned to die, since having a son was more desirable to the culture. I don't know if abortion is legal in China, but if it is, I'm sure many female fetus were aborted, too. Now, the latest news is that China is…

Also, speed-dating events have been getting cancelled with more and more frequency lately because the ratio of women to men signing up has been in the range of 5:1. Segue…

I agree that the tradition should change to women choosing men. It's just more logical and efficient that way. Us men should just get used to doing our own thing, and patiently wait for a woman to approach us. But, I disagree that it isn't going to happen anytime soon. Stop. Just, stop. You're drilling down, erratically changing your direction, throwing everything against the wall, just to try to find some exception to exploit. I cannot, should not, and would not force someone to date me who does not want to. or choose to, date me. Nor do I owe any woman anything. I think you are in the minority. That same data set that showed that women find 80 percent of men below average in attractiveness also showed that men viewed women's attractiveness on a nice smooth bell curve. That states that, generally, in most cases, on average, men are pursuing at their own level.

Well. Maybe. I don't know. But, the point is that - whether it was a signal or not - she grabbed onto him out of fear, much the same way she would have to a boyfriend or husband. But, they are just friends. This wasn't the progenitor of this thread of mine, but I just realized that a similar situation had happened to me. About twenty years ago, I was married. Naw. I guess my intention was lost in the brevity of the post. Take a situation where a guy has a female friend (among several other friends of both sexes). He thinks she's attractive, and they get along great, and he would entertain the thought of maybe having a relationship with her, but that topic just never came up between them. They go to a haunted house with their group of friends. She gets scared and clings onto him - almost not letting go until they get out of the haunted house. His thou…

"For all the talk of equality, that we live in the 21st century, men are still expected to make the first move most of the time. We need to ask her out, initiate the kiss, initiate things going further, bring up the topic of sex, etc. Now there are exceptions, but as a general rule, this is still how it works." Way off-base. Men providing masculinity, leadership, decisiveness, and security is seen as being toxic in today's society. And, no, Bugattis are not examples of those traits. It's true that those are traits that men are generally better at than women, and it's true that these traits are some important traits - for society as a whole - for people to have, but even though women find these traits to be attractive, those traits are demonized in society today. Figure out that conundrum. Yes, people f…

Excellent post. We all know how men who are broken or dangerous are seen as being interesting to women, which also makes them sexy to women (which is probably because women get to have the fun, without having to worry about the consequences). But, if you are not one of those men, and you have exercised reasonable amounts of effort towards yourself in order to make yourself more attractive to women, but you are not succeeding, then you need to be content with the thought that it's not your fault,…

Yeah, this is some of the worst pop-science that I have been encountering. The overall priority is that everyone is healthy, safe, warm, dry, and nourished (both mentally and physically). Within a family unit, "from those who can provide the most, to those who need the most". Each sex brings different strengths to a relationship and a family. It's high risk for the woman? What's the risk level for the man who starts off with nothing - especially if the woman also starts off with nothing? Loyalty goes both ways. How about they try to be in a wholesome and strong relationship with someone of a like mind, and enjoy their lives together, instead of being transactional with it? This goes for both men and women.

My opinion on the matter is that your point of view is heavily biased from the woman's perspective, and it is not realistic. You might be trying to point out bad behavior in men in order to lessen the impact of bad behavior in women. Breaking up after graduation? Extremely common in general - especially if they did not graduate together. But, women's standards were not mentioned at all in that video - by either the men or women. It dealt more with men not wanting to be involved with combative women. The women just plain seemed mad that men were exercising this option. A couple of the men seemed to not consider the idea, but are now considering this option due to the horrible state that dating in the US is in, and the one women even commiserated with men on this topic.

/r/PurplePillDebate15/11/22 01:09 PM

When women say that they won't "settle", what they really mean is that they won't "cooperate" with men. Something in their brain prevents them from wanting to be cooperative with men in a relationship - so much so that words like "cooperate" and "agreeable" make women seethe.

That statement that she made is much deeper than it appears to be. It's anecdotal evidence that some of the following are true, to some extent: Women view men mostly as annoying. Men do give that much unwanted attention. Men do give that much unwanted attention, but it's from a fraction of a fraction of men - the one percent of psychopaths who pursue all women regardless (Matthew Hussey). Well, I think what the issue is, is frustration that we don't understand why women don't like sex, and we have no idea how to fix that issue. Sex is intimate, pleasureful, and fun. Humans also geared to like it, for the sake of the species. We just don't understand where the disconnect is with women. This is such primitive thinking. Relationships are a scam? I am a rock, I am an island? Both parties benefit from relationships. You stated this yourself. Unless, you don't see building a loving relationship as being a worthwhile endeavor, or that men are not worthy of having a rewarding relationship - or worthy enough of having a loving relationship with you specifically. I mean, the relationship is as binding to the man as it is to the woman. The flip side of your argument is that a man had to…

Here's the problem with that. Nothing happens in a vacuum. I have to admit that I think 30 is a bit young to be considered to have hit the wall for most women. Probably 40s is when it actually starts to happen. But, just to stay congruent, we'll use both 30s and 40s. Any women out of their 20s are competing with the 20 year-old women. Sure, women will still get attention from men into their 30s and 40s, and beyond, but what kind of men are available at that point? And, what's wrong with the woma…

"You have to approach a woman. They like that." "Don't approach a woman. They don't like that." "Be low-key on the first date. This will put her at ease." "Plan an elaborate date for the first date. She'll like the effort." I've come to the conclusion that each woman is speaking as if she is talking for all fe…

Naw, this is one of those backwards science conclusions where correlation does not equal causation. First, education does not equal intelligence nor success, nor fidelity. For those offended by that statement, look at the current state of finances and education in the US. If higher-educated people are so intelligent and successful, why am I probably going to be forced to pay for part of their educational debt for them? It's because most men are experiencing nasty and unfriendly women. There's no psych-trick here. You are right, no one wants to be with a mean person, but men are encountering a lot of mean women out there. Thus, it has to be mentioned. Case in point, you got very offended at those few words - in the exact same way my meme described. How was I able to predict that? Why do the words "nice" and "pleasant" trigger you so much? Don't you want the same in a man?

Conflict #1 - "Choose better". Some of these requirements that some women have are ridiculous. There was an infamous TED Talk where it was a single woman in her 30s who listed out her list of requirements up on the stage for the audience. It was extensive and contradictory, to say the least. And, she denigrated men for not meeting her list of requirements, and for making her feel that she had to pair the list down. Some of the requirements were vague, too, like "successful". They are pretty much either the extreme of a bunch of women showcasing and bragging about their toxicity, or the other extreme of women asking, "where are all the good men at?" and lamenting decisions that they made in the past. Eh. Kinda sorta? There is a thought right now that an invisible thing that is negatively affecting society is the lack of "Third Places". You have the place where you live, and then the place where you work, and then the "Third Places" where you socialize. On top of that, there is a very damaging aspect to the dating realm that no one talks about. It's when a "10" guy takes advantage of a "5" woman, and then discards her. Even though she was discarded, the "5" woman thinks that since she had one "10" that that is what she deserves going forward.

Oh, so many. But, I have a funny example that I witnessed. MXRPlays is a popular YouTube channel with two main people: Henry and Jeannie. They sometimes have guest commentators, and also have panels of commentators. On one such video with a panel of commentators, they were all female. So, it was Henry, and like six females. As soon as they started up the first video, one of the females forcefully tells Henry to pause the video, and she commands, "Okay, Henry. No dick jokes." But then, throughout…

I noticed the exact same thing about Courtney Ryan. We're seeing a live slow red-pilling in the wild with her right now. Height is an immutable characteristic - just like the amount of melanin in your skin. Having a height preference is akin to racism. (Am I doing this right?) But, seriously, though. A woman having a height ultimatum, but then screaming about a man saying something like "I would like a woman to weigh less than me" is a huge red flag to avoid. I mean, dating apps require you to put in your exact height - to the inch (when your height can fluctuate up to a half inch through the course of a day - not…

Those were absolutely never the goalposts, and maybe that's the problem. Women think that there are only two extremes, and that they must pick between them. Every upstanding man wants to be both the chad and the simp for the woman in their life, at the same time. But, seriously, if a man's career is a deciding point for a woman, then the Buzzfeed was a red flag. I hope that helps make it make sense to you.

/r/PurplePillDebate21/10/22 11:05 PM

Women are not "settling". They are not even trying to be reasonable, or participate at all. That's the whole problem. Should men be agreeable to women? Then, should women be agreeable to men?

So, men are supposed to provide that safe and secure environment, and then work to actually have you find us to be sexually appealing, and hoping that you happen to be receptive to it at that time, then do most of the physical exertion during intercourse, and also make sure that you have an orgasm by the end of it - or you'll be angry. Can you let me know at what point you start to participate in the relationship?

So, what you are saying is that the average woman does not have these basic life skills. So, the "bare minimum" for a woman is actually below average for a human. I am saying this from the perspective of a man who has spent a lot of time in pleasant solitude working on himself and his interests and skills, and I meet all of those requisites that you listed above that average men apparently don't have - or at least you think. First off, it was a cheap throw-away one-liner. Don't put too much thought or emphasis into it. I could have just as easily have said, "I bet she got her taxes done early this year". Personal time-management skills aside, I think the "gatekeeper" logic that I said above (not mine, by the way) holds true, and is an important tool to use to understand the dynamic with human heterosexual relationships. It's a shitty analogy because it's lengthy, and hard to get right when saying it, and there is no alliteration to help you along, and you'll probably have to repeat it for your audience. A better "lock and key analogy" is that women are the gatekeepers to sex. Men are the gatekeepers to relationships. Instead, we get fever-dream pop-spy copium threads like this...regularly. We're just saying "no", but, apparently, it pisses a lot of people off when men just plain choose to not participate.

Where did you get THAT information? Completely wrong. You need to stay off FDS, and watch some videos that cover this topic.

So, with all the millions of data points out there, the rate of filing for divorce should be 50/50. But, it's not. Not even close, at 80/20. Bounce this against the other 80/20 rule, about women constantly practicing hypergamy, and we have data sets that match. Women desperately want out of a marriage with a Beta in order to get an Alpha.

You're typing out this thread like it's a fever dream of yours. And yet, this is all supposed to be about two people sharing their lives together in a relationship.

Because men are done. We'd rather just plain have honest fun with other guys, instead of dealing with the absolutely trifling mess that threads like this describe.

Or, like in my case, the woman just changes her mind about wanting to be married to me, says she wants a divorce, and it's up to me to get it done.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/10/22 03:07 PM

And women file for divorce 80 percent of the time. So, is that evidence of love and happiness, and is it a case of their expectations getting unrealistic again?

So, then, the main thing hurting men's ability to get women is women not reciprocating - not porn. I'll counter with my own anecdote. The reason you are seeing all sorts of men hanging out together outside - without women - is because we're just plain done with women. So, we have become accustomed to hanging out only with other men, and we no longer are chasing after women. It's not worth it. We'd rather have a stress-free fun time. I can tell you that this is true with me. I just don't have the…

Naw. When women shut men down before any interaction at all, it doesn't even get anywhere near intimacy. Also, I rarely consume porn, and I'm very interested in women, so count me as a data point against your argument.

I don't want to do what it takes to win the game. I'm definitely with you on this. Stoicism is an art worth pursuing, and a worthy and rewarding life to live. I think you are a sigma male. I, too, have given up, and pursued new interests. I still have profiles out there, just sitting there, like monuments, in case some nice girl happens to trip over one someday. Like everyone else, during the pandemic, I got into bread-making. But then I kept going with it. Researching yeast, doing fermentations…

Well, I've received very little interest from women. And, I've been both active and passive in this regard. So, I haven't really been dating. Of the little interest that I have been getting, I would say that they are around the "4" range.

Eh. I've seen women say, "big dick energy". They see something that they feel the need to get involved with. They turn their baseball hat backwards, literally pull up their shorts, and say it in the same vein as, "hold my beer", as they charge in. Quite attractive, actually.

Naw, I disagree. I think that would only encourage her to continue to act like that. It's a thought pattern that she's established, and she has learned that she gets a response from it - positive or negative. A response is a response.

I actually have no idea how attractive I am. 46-year-old hetero man here. Because of the 80/20 machinations, I just realized that I actually have no idea how attractive I am to others. Obviously, I'm less than "8". But I've been told that I'm handsome. I think I'm about a "6". But I would like some feedback from anyone here who is interested in giving it. I honestly don't know what the range is that I fall into, and I'd like to find out. This would immensely help me. If you DM me, I'll send you …

Well, here is a recent interview with those said women which has seen some virality. I would suggest that you watch it, and listen to what these girls say. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ubTTYS19Xvk tl;dr: "I want a nice guy to have a relationship with, but nice guys aren't attractive. Chads are attractive, so I let Chads come over and have sex with me."

"You can Google it." Hilarious. I need Google to understand human intimacy and how I feel about it. Reminds me of the time, years ago on a phpBB, where a young woman in college was lecturing me on what human sexuality was, and what was supposed to make people aroused - based on what her professor was telling her. Men and women, who are not psychopaths, are both emotionally invested in intimacy. If you are collecting data, put me down as a data point towards that regard.

Yeah, ever since I heard the "DNA proves that only 5 percent of men reproduce", I knew it was data that was not being interpreted correctly. The correct way of stating it would be "5 percent of men's DNA has been continuously passed down through the ages". A lot of men reproduce all the time. It's just that only 5 percent of lineages have survived over the millennia.

Oh, boy. Okay. Where to start? Well, to start broadly, your argument is thin, because it relies on a lot of extremes and false realities. You want to know what percentage of guys have this mentality of being a player and desiring a virgin? It resides within that top 20 percent of guys that 80 percent of women are chasing. It's a very small percentage of that percentage. Here, I'll let Matthew Hussey explain: https://youtu.be/3g9HVJubTmw?t=35 (Incidentally, if you want to see a surprising exchang…

People like Andrew Tate tend to end up getting humiliated and deflated, and the women on TikTok have to deal with public opinion.

For some reason, people get so angry when men choose to do their own thing - rather than deal with all of this trifling mess. But, there were a lot of women who were alone when no men showed up to this singles mixer. Not one man. Only women. Where were all those Alpha Chads when the pickings were so easy and ripe? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZGb97dckDkM

In the short-term? Not good. Right now, it's as if there is a war of attrition going on. There are, and will be, many casualties. And, it is best if us Normies just stay out of it for now - until things calm down and normalize to some new normal. Just so you know where the battle lines are, it's the bottom 80 percent of men who are fighting both the top 80 percent of women and top 20 percent of men. Andrew Tate, as well as all of those women on TikTok, are the enemy to the 80 percent of men. Thi…

Somewhere in this following dichotomy is the answer to your question: Looks are important, but the bar is low. As long as you are at least a "4", you will be found attractive by most guys. Just how certain behaviors that men do women do not find attractive because the behaviors do not display confidence, women who wear a lot of makeup and accessories are also seen as not having confidence - like they are trying to hide something, or change themselves because they don't like themselves. Basic fou…

It's highly situational. Of all the possible scenarios, this is route is definitely one of them. But, I definitely do not think it's a majority. Maybe a plurality, at best. You will always have the guy who just plain gave up by the time he hits 40. You will always have the delusional woman who is still trying to buy her way into a relationship with a man, with her body, into her 40s. You will always have the man that goes for the mousy woman who is shy, but looks young at any age. You will alway…

Not yet, but I think I'm past my prime, and it probably won't happen at this point. This seems to be a younger generation thing. I'm content to be alone now - and the Red Pill thinking has helped in that regard with my mental health. I think I'm okay with just relegating myself to a role of being someone who is in a position to maybe pass along advice and my experiences to others.

Yes, you are correct in all of those assertions. This has been proven with data, and with mountains of anecdotal evidence. Another angle to look at it from is this: Women engage with men that they want. Men engage with women that they can. Yes, desperate men will underprice themselves. Picky women will overprice themselves. This is why men with large body counts are celebrated, but women with large body counts are not. The man is seen as having accomplished something because he has been desired …

Well, the OP kind of went off the rails, so let me fork this back in a reasonable direction. What OP was saying is true. Men have an instinct to take care of women, and women have an instinct to take care of children. That's a generalization. There are certainly gray areas. You think men just want bangmaids? Sheesh. It doesn't sound like you bring much to a relationship, besides anger.

Uhm, yeah. The same also goes for females, too. Unless you want to be part of Chad's rotation, become part of a harem, or continually get ghosted, maybe try dating in your own lane. It would be better for all involved.

I don't know if this post is a troll or not, but your anecdote pretty much exactly describes what is happening in the dating world right now, down to the exact numbers - and backed up by data. Both OkCupid and Match have released well-known and infamous spreadsheets and graphs about this subject, which each consist of hundreds of millions of anonymous points of data. I highly encourage you to just simply search for "okcupid data". It will take you right there. But, one of the main conclusions wa…
