So I've recently come home from school for a break as I got pretty depressed at school. I've now taken to a bunch of healthy habits such as boxing, reading, golfing, eating vegetarian, writing in a journal, cutting tv/video games/phone use down, learning music theory for guitar, etc. I want all of my habits to contribute to personal growth.

I have this thing about myself where I hate being told what to do, how to do something, shown the ropes, argued with, and my parents do that kind of shit all of the time. They think that I'm having mental problems for suddenly being more emotional, and I tell them that I am more confident in myself than ever. Anyways I walk around the house dreading conversations with them some of the time, and my little brother looks at me like I'm some kind of bafoon. I basically have told them all to F off! That I don't like them. I consider it an attack on my character when someone tries to argue/reason/instruct/guide/intimidate/ or any bullshit sly undermine technique (sympathize, guilt trip) I see a lot of these really sneaky ways to get me to agree with people. So am I crazy or what hahaha! I don't know what to do next but I know I'm becoming a man - might have to go live on my own. My parents say that if i do whatever I want I won't have any friends - I could care less if i have "friends" I don't even know what that means most of my friends growing up were abusive to me although we did have a ton of fun, I was never getting laid so to speak. Now I find myself pretty bold and attractive. Just need to get some direction and eventually go back to school at another college. What do y'all think about this - basically can't stand people who, like my brother, ignore me and have some kind of not good opinion about me, or like my mom, useless banter that annoys me or argues with me constantly, or like my dad, puts me down although he is kind of a pussy, and tries to intimidate me sometimes but now I've told him I would fight him any time... hahahba

PS - I've had these bouts of anger, and also ones of sadness, so although I feel confident and more manly than before I think I could be holding on to some depression. I've also become pretty skeptical about people in general and look at most people with a suspicious eye, awaiting some kind of bullshit I don't like
