I have that TRP quotes app. And I stumbled across one that said (with which I totally agree) that you can soft next guys as well (no homo, i.e. friends).

It happened to me today. Someone annoyed me and I preferred to extract myself out of the situation and now I see all my resulted actions like an unintended soft next. Although it was a reaction, but to avoid the bigger reaction or something like that.

Now, after cooling down, I truly believe that I gave too much attention to that person and it makes me reconsider some things. Isn't this the purpose of this 'method'?

PS: I did some NLP with a friend several weeks ago and I started appreciating myself more. Now, I find myself doing RP stuff (not all, still learning, of course) unintentionally. Like the one from above.

So... True or not? Cause, if true, soft nexting is not a disciplinary measure you apply to someone in case of bla bla, like someone said here on some topic. It's actually for you and only you, when you truly know what you want and what you don't want. Or, at least, have a sense of it. So, not a prevention method, but a promotion oriented one. If the other person feels it like a punishment, even better, but the intention is not this.

PPS: I know my approach trends to go to solipsism, but don't you think that men should not be solipsists ONLY with a person that fully deserves it (putting a price on your commitment / attention / investment, without isolating yourself or creating very big ego walls)?

If true, this means that all TRP techniques have to be viewed as directed inwards (on me), instead of outwards (on others, on them). Which brings you into a collaborative frame (me, growing, for contribution and change), instead of competitive frame (me, hating female nature, reacting to hypergamy, instead of taking advantage of it). So, RSD was true. And RSD with TRP can work. Contradicting other guys from here. But this is another topic.

So.. Rant done, question still on. Thanks.
