My understanding is incels blame women for them not getting laid, whereas MTGOW are showed the red pill and decide they don't want anything to do with women anymore so voluntarily celibate.

Red Pill Man : Accepts that the world is unfair and looks to see how the playing field is slanted and adapts to it. He will change his ways and himself so he is one of the ones this unfair world favours.
Mgtow Man : Accepts the world is unfair and refuses to try. He changes his expectations rather than himself. He resigns himself to paying for sex rather than getting fit, dressing better and learning to steer the conversation and the woman to his bed.
Incel man : Refuses to accept the world is unfair and rages against it. He refuses to change in anyway and usually refuses to even try. Instead he focuses his anger at those who are participating in the game.

There is some overlap, but basically MGTOW is a decision that you make, Incel by definition cannot be a decision. Incels loose on the SMP and MGTOW gave up.

But that what I understood on the side, did not try to study both movements.

It's not really about what experiences you have with people that call themselves MGTOW. The thing is that at the end of the day, these communities have their own philosophies no matter how individual members act like.

MGTOW is about survival, so they walk away.

Incel is about some sort of pessimistic nihilism based on the sexual marketplace, so they talk about women all day and why they can't get laid.

These two groups might have similarities but their beliefs and end-goals are different. Incels want to get their peepees touched and MGTOW wished that the laws wouldn't be so biased against men so that they could have relationships and healthy families in a just system. MGTOW holds women accountable but doesn't see them as a problem. Women are simply a symptom of gynocentrism, which manifests in any system that enables female choice.

According to same theory where a group that isn't explicitly right will become left over time, a system that doesn't explicitly stand for male authority will default to female centrism. Which is a unjust society. From what I gather, incels don't go that deep with their rhetoric and don't care for society. They just want their peepees touched and become angry once they take the red-pill and learn about female nature.

Closest thing to MGTOW being incels could be the red-pill rage, which is a healthy response to learning the truth about nature and a system that favors one sex at the expense of another. But it's supposed to be a temporary stage for coming to terms with reality in order to becoming a better person to live a good life as a man in this political climate.
