To start off, ive been in a relationship with my current girlfriend for 4 years now, and we live together. About a year ago, i saw this girl I knew from high school when I was running errands. We made plans to hang out later that night, just me and her. At the time , she was 18, and I was 22. We met up around 9 pm, and since it was nice out, decided to go to the park.

We ended up walking around for a couple hours, and then started walking back to my car. When we got to my car, she basically grabbed my head and started making out with me. Me, completely surprised, stopped her and said some shit about having a girlfriend. I know, really dumb move, I could have pushed for whatever I wanted. SHe kept apologizing and saying that she thought I was giving her signals all night. I said it was ok, and drove her home. Since then, we have talked very infrequently, and although we hang out occasionally, she makes excuses not to hang out way more than not.

I realize that I messed up that night. We still talk and hang out very infrequently now. My question is, do you think theres a shot at turning her into a plate? If there is, what should I do? Any advice on the situation in general would also be appreciated.
