Tension contributes to attraction, but there is such a thing as "too much tension".

Some girls can't handle it, some girls openly love it, some girls secretly get outrageously hot and bothered with the thought alone that other women would give themselves with zero resistance to their AF.

I've been in your shoes, and my advice is to play something of the "noble alpha". If the shit tests continue, then you need to put your foot down. "Babe, I'm getting tired of this. You knew what our relationship was - so where is this coming from?"
