Personally speaking, I wouldn't use most of the tips suggested here. I had to double check the URL to make sure I wasn't on /r9k/, and that's coming from a guy with "sigma" in his username. Otherwise, it would show that you're trying way too hard and that you're butthurt about it, which means your friends will realize that they struck a nerve, and that in turn will only encourage them to tease you more about it.

But maybe it's a cultural thing.

The truth is that I cannot give a proper reply without context. I can't tell whether this is just banter among friends or if you're surrounded by toxic people. My friends and I tease each other all the time, but there's no passive-aggressiveness nor are there cheap shots, like going after divorced parents and whatnot. If I were in your shoes, it wouldn't bother me at all, though I'd also probably bring up cringe-worthy events from their past later on just to tease them about it.

You mention having sold out your friends, but have you ever apologized for this ? The female friend you mentioned. Is she still your friend ? If not, then I suppose she wasn't that much of a friend really, since you no longer talk, while the friend who thinks you sold him out still hangs out with you despite this. Either way, I suggest wingman-ing for your friend even if you don't consider the previous incident to be your fault, at least then he will consider you both to be even.
