I'm 33, dated a chick 6 months last year. Everything was going fine but she decided to take a job 5 hours out of town. I was gonna "do the long distance thing" which is not recommended. Before she left she blocked me and told me I should have moved with her (she would always misinterpret text messages and go apeshit, but then we would meet in person and she would apologize and go back to "loving" me).
Anyways, it's been 2 months and I'm now seeing other chicks (though they are far flakier than she was). She reached out to me a couple weeks ago and we met up at a hotel and had a nice weekend of sex, and adventures around town. But the whole time she was really pushing for commitment, which I now am denying because last time I gave it to her, she took off without warning.
I allowed myself to mourn the relationship and now am able to keep the emotions at bay, but I like that there is a chick that seems to worship me and tell me how perfect we are, and who will share sex when she's in town. However, when she is out of town it's like she gives me dread game "there was this guy at the hotel who was really aggressive and want to get with me but I told him I'm with you".
Who knows, maybe she fucked him. But now she is blowing up my phone about how she left town not because of me but because her relationship with her father is bad.
I want no-strings-attached sex and seem to have it so far, but with the occasional "what are we" freak out via text.
Should I just keep that dynamic where we meet up, fuck, have a great time, she leaves, texts about commitment, I deny her, she freaks out, dreads me, then repeats the cycle?
I do have other plates but they are far flakier than her which is why I like the convencience...
