I've studied abroad for three semesters. You don't have a choice to make, she is ending the relationship.

There are two major factors here:

a) She is at the 'try other dicks' age. Very few relationships last from 18-21.

b) She is going to be far away, having new experiences, living a dream life she has imagined for herself. That's going to include banging Italian dudes or whatever on the beach, especially with peer pressure.

If you are silly enough to try this I would start approaching and keep your prospects list long.

Dude, 9 months in a LDR will 100% guaranteed result in her cheating. And that's understandable. Wouldn't you hook up with foreign girls if you were in a foreign country for 9 months?

I say break it off with her and say "have fun, let's talk when you get back and see how we feel". Trust me, man. I've had an LDR go south after 4 months of separation. It doesn't take much. She thinks she wants you in her pocket NOW but when she's around foreign dudes she will THEN want them. It's all about how women feel in the moment.

Your lack of abundance mentality is holding you back.

Look if you want to do it, fine, but having and LDR is like having an imaginary friend who cock blocks you. And meanwhile, while you're on the deprivation diet, they girl is (99.44% guaranteed) taking yards of foreign cock. Only she won't tell you (if at all) until long after it's happened, which will make you feel like an asshole for having been 'faithful' during the time from when she was first getting some strange until you find out. So you will feel like crap that it happened, and feel like a sucker for carrying the torch while she dropper her panties for Sven, Luigi or Marcel. Or all three of them, whatever.

There's really no easy answer, other than break-up while she's gone and expect to be lied to when she gets back, if she's still into you then.
