Very inexperienced user here. But I'd say you need to think about this like carrot and stick. You gave her the stick, now give her some carrot. Bring her out for dinner or whatnot, do something nice together, have some sex if possible. Never make it look like an apology though, as this will ruin your SMV in her eyes. You need to be making her a favour, because idk, "she sounded like she needed it" and you are the answer to any of her problems - bringer of stability, comfort and contentment.

However this is assuming that she is already a plate / fwb. If this is a random chick who's getting bitchy because you are not giving her enough attention, you are a beta orbiter, get the fuck out of there right now.

I've been guilty of the over-dread, but don't forget that dread doesn't work by making them instantly realize that they can lose you and have them come running back.

Most of the time, there's a push-back to test to see if you're really as willing to walk at any moment as you give off. This comes in the form of bitchy behaviour - the storm before the calm, as it were - or comfort tests.

If you just push-push-push, she's going to react negatively. There has to be a pull there.

I like the idea of pushing her until I get a comfort test, and then using that to draw her back in even closer than before. She's going to give you an opportunity to make some changes here, so make sure you're ready for it.
