My ex LTR got a random message on instagram. It was a long text from a guy who found her attractive. She showed it to me and we both had a laugh about him. But then she went off about how so many people constantly do this and started showing me different texts. At first i didn't care but when she kept going on and on it started to bug me. Not that this was happening but that she wouldn't shut up about it. I want to learn for the future how to shut this shit down. How do I tell her i don't care or switch the topic without seeming butthurt.( my response in the moment was "haha" "ok" "cool" in a dismissive way and the going back to looking at the waves. Then when it got too much i opened up some old messages I got to show her) this was before TRP and I want to learn how i could have responded better. Thanks
