Gyms for you.

When I see guys with girlfriends at the gym they’re never really working out.

The rarity is if you’re a 5’0 Asian dude that’s jacked to the max repping 405 squat while his girlfriend sits there and watches.

That’s the only outlier I’ve seen.

Gym is church.

You don’t pickup girls at church.

Gaming in the gym is one of the most controversial things in TRP.

My perspective is simply: why the fuck do we have to differentiate gaming vs. not-gaming?

If you walked up to her and started a friendly convo for the hell of it, wouldn't that be considered okay no matter what the situation is?

So my answer is:

You should open all three from a friendly perspective while carefully gauging subliminal interest. Being too aggressive is bad because this is your gym you go regularly blah blah obvious reasons if she reports you or gossips about you etc. But if you are super casual and nonchalant about it and then slowly steadily warm up to them (after they give positive feedback) then nobody can ever blame you for anything and you can go from there.

You can't single her out because her opinion of you will be largely formulated by her two friends. "Oh he's cute" = you are 80% in

At my gym people are talking and interacting all the time including girls with guys so maybe it depends on setting...

The gym is deceptive. If you see guys working out with girls at the gym, they probably met OUTSIDE the gym. Imagine 3 months from now she's squatting on some other guy's face AT YOUR GYM while you're trying to finish your set. Probably won't be the best time you've ever had.

Female clients are more valuable to the business as they draw in thirsty betas however they are window dressings and not for sale. all it takes is one girl telling a manager you're a creep and guess who loses membership no questions asked. The gym is a time to commune with your metaphysical Brodin. You shouldn't be able to pay attention to others, if you can you're wasting time. Stop texting between reps I want a turn on the squat rack.

the friends are going to make it extremely difficult, but the only idea that I have would be to try and catch them as they're leaving and say something like "really? You're really going to leave without doing youre ab workout?" and then shake your head and then motion for them to come with you towards wherever people do planks.

Scarcity mentality leads you to try and pick up women at the gym. Instead, you should try and do as LITTLE as possible at the gym in terms of working out; I use a gym right now because I don't have a good home gym situation with a power-rack. That will change next year for various reasons.

Why is it not a good idea? Because the gym is about self-improvement, exercise, work, etc. Everything else is a distraction from that goal. It is multi-tasking.

Of course you see hot women there all the time, and they are healthy, etc. And of course, you could meet someone there who is halfway decent. But also, the women that go there, could be crazy, or fucking several dudes because they are there trawling for dick, so you'd just be their flavor of the week or month, and then you might have to deal with drama or fallout.

What you should do is try to find a place or method or situation where you can meet women without having to distract yourself from something you are working on.
