If your life is full of shit to do and not predictable in the first place, your dates won't be either. Fill your life with shit to do and you won't have to worry about faking it.

I have no clue what tactic is most successful, I've never paid attention, they get invites basically whenever I think of it.

Sometimes, I know what I'm doing, who I want to take, and set plans weeks in advance.

Sometimes, they invite me out, and I oblige.

Sometimes, I just feel like going out or staying in and call them over. Sometimes, I know I'll be free the next day and set it up in advance.

Sometimes, I get flaked on, so a plate gets a "what are you doing right now?" call on a Friday night.

It's pretty much whatever works. I don't think anything of it.

As long as she doesn't have her phone beep and already know what you want, you're fine. Don't do the same thing, on the same day, in the same way, over and over. If she knows you call every wednesday night to invite her out to Friday dinner, reconsider what you're doing.

You're focussing too much on the importance of asking her out. Let's be clear, you are NOT trying to arrange to both your and her schedule here. You're a busy man with shit to do. You have a slot and she can share in the moment. If she's not joining you then her loss. She'll try to inquire what you were up to. Make it awesome.

Usually I dont even rely to confirm. I let them confirm to invest. I swear it works out better for me plus makes me way less concerned if they flake.

Working with her schedule doesn't mean you're walking into her frame. If you're rearranging your life around her, then you've got an issue.

Stop looking at the minor details. Self actualize, don't focus on the in between. Everything will fall into place if you reach for greatness in your own life... you'll be acting accordingly.
