Treat them like your homeboy. Don't try to hook up with them and ruin the friendship unless she initiates. They will hook you up with their friends. Also, being seen with female friends only looks better for you in social settings, especially if they are attractive.

It’s super useful to have female friends. You do have to be a bit more careful when talking to them though. I don’t like that. I’m a very straightforward and honest dude and I have to always remember to soften my words when talking to them.
