Get up as early as your schedule allows you.
Do most important things first in the day.
Have a diet and eat same shit everyday (or have at least some consistent foods)
Eat clean food.
Prep food (as much as you can) the night before for the next day (or more).
Buy (as much as you can) in bulk.
Buy store brand food (cost less and same quality as Branded local products).
Find out what style and clothing suit you and, again, buy in bulk (not saying his style is anything to follow, but Steve Jobs)
Only read 1-2 star reviews on Amazon of the the things you considering buying.
If you work or go to school, besides gym only work on one other goal.

And lastly, if you into reading Self-Help, Success ect books:

Buy a book of your interest from Tom Butler-Bowdon collection and don't buy/read any other book.

For me it's about filling your life with things you want so much you can't help dedicate time to them. If you tell yourself you want something, but don't automatically work towards it - maybe you don't really want it that much. Figuring that out takes facing yourself and that can't be a tough opponent.

Apps/programs are... well, they are what you make of them.

In the military, you use a wheel book. This is a tiny notebook (commonly spiral bound, hence the "wheel") that you just keep on your person all the time. Get a cheap one, not some expensive, leather bound shit, so you can use, abuse, lose and fill without qualms. (I used to use moleskines for this, but I go through them too quickly and hate wasting the money, which led to me using it less, which led to shittiness).

You keep a running list of all of your tasks and things you need to accomplish for the day, with a little box next to it. When you are drinking coffee, or have a minute or two of downtime, consult the list and re-prioritize.

If it is partially done, fill in half of the box (I like going diagonally). If it is all the way done, fill in the box.

The next morning, take 5 minutes to copy over the shit you didn't finish. Take the half-filled boxes and change the task into what needs to be done to complete the rest of the overall task.

Fold-up or rip out/throw away yesterday's page.

Continue until this notebook is full/empty.

"Buy a new notebook" should be the last note on the last page.

Benefits over apps:

Pure flexibility. Paper and pen has yet to be matched by any app in this department. Flexibility is key in keeping on task, because it allows you to encompass everything you need. The more rigid your system (computer/app), the more likely you find something to put in it that doesn't fit.
You always have a pen and paper on hand. This is huge, because that are one of those things you never know when you are going to need, and which have immense intrinsic value.
You can do more than keep the list: good ideas, quick song, something to research, phone numbers, etc (really just examples of why the other two reasons are good).
You don't pull out your phone for things. You don't go and get on reddit for a minute instead of staying on task. Which you do when you try and add something to evernote.

Sometimes it helps to hit rock bottom.

If you are having a hard time starting everything at once, make a list of habits you want to implement in your life. At the beginning of each week, start doing one good habit and drop one bad habit.

Reading can help outline what is a good behaviour and a bad behaviour, but you really just need to follow through on things. Even if you set up reward or punishment based systems to "motivate" you it takes discipline to stick to your word. Unless you want to pay someone to shadow you all day and hold you accountable for everything you do, you need to discipline yourself.

Google "systems over goals". Essentially if you make concrete goals and plans i.e. ways of achieving them. It's impossible to fail.

E.g. My system for gym: Eat 6 meals a day at 500 kcal each. Protein 30% minimum of all meals. Go to the gym every other day at 3pm. HIIT training every other rest day. Follow this and it's impossible to fail.

Identify and eliminate inefficient/unproductive use of your time. For me, I no longer watch any tv and use that time to go to the gym instead.

Listen to good music. Get hyped. Get testosterone fulfilled your body to maximum. Slay bitches. Important: Don't eat fat food. Get energy to workout and dont lose it.
