I got assigned to organize a small event of the local adult ADHD self-help group i'm attending, some sort of yearly BBQ. The female group leader ordered me and a younger yet longer participating female member to do the task. Normally i would kick senseless tasks like this by not accepting them in the beginng, but no choice was given to me. I've organzied parties and events before, so i know the drill but this shit is neither important, neither helpful nor do i profit from it. It's pure time killing, so I want to get it done and out of the way as fast as possible.

The Problem: My female Project partner is kinda lazy/flaky and not interested in getting it done. My gut tells me that she wants me to do all the organising work. That was the point so far. She flakes/hides into excuses when given tasks. 2 examples:

In the second group meeting, she stated in public, but "kinda quiet" (so no one hears it) that she has concerns about her getting the organizing properly done. when i asked her afterwards why she is afraid, she denied stating this.

i set up a dropbox for organizing that took her 2 weeks to get it up and running and so far she did absolutely nothing, last sunday i called her via mail to meet and get this sorted in 2 or 3 hours, so we're done, but she flakes, stating she's busy with work and countering why i haven't set up the doodles for finding a time for the BBQ.

tl;dr: I'm still a recovering blue pill and i always had problems handling women like this in the work context. Now i am a bit more red in the mind, yet putting RP to work in social/work circumstances is still a hassle for me. I had this problem several Times with female project partners during University. Several times also with female Clients. They start flaking and ignoring when i get a bit more demanding.

How do i handle this flaking? How do i get lazy chicks to start working in Group projects? and How do i get her start respecting me and get her working in this? and how do i handle this delusional bullshit spewing that she uses to get out of her duties?

Excuses and illogical Relativations in the Mails are delicious. "I couldn't come to the time that i proposed because i got home yesterday at 22h and had to unpack all my stuff, because my mom would get angry." Baby, you are 25.
