As we know, the AF/BB dynamic is king in the sexual marketplace. One caveat that I believe in, however, is that no one is completely Alpha or Beta. Instead, they possess a mixed bag of Alpha and Beta traits. Some of these are in direct opposition to each other (such as the ability to handle shit tests - you either pass them or you don't), but not all of them. Additionally, some traits can be Alpha or Beta, depending on the context.
So how do you handle your Beta qualities that are not in direct opposition of your Alpha qualities? Do you actively suppress them? One great example that illustrates my point is career choice, so let's take TRPers that are doctors for example. Being a doctor signifies wealth and stability, which is conducive to women's BB strategy. However, that doesn't mean that someone can't be an Alpha and a doctor at the same time.
Upon finding out your job title, a woman might decide that you are a great BB candidate, and thus slow down the dating process to increase her chances of commitment with you, even if you present Alpha traits. Someone with those same Alpha traits who has a lower status career might have an easier time to get laid with that woman much quicker, since she doesn't see you as husband material right off the bat. So with that being said, would you intentionally hide or suppress those type of "Beta" qualities?
