Is it better to have read receipts on or off?

When playing the txting game is better to show that you seen their txt or better to let them never know.

In my case I'm txting a girl who says she wants to go on another date but often responds to my texts after 24 hours or mid day Tuesday responds mid day Wednesday. I don't really get bothered by that but she spams snapchats to me of her watching Thursday night football in her recliner by herself. It feels like a middle finger that she can't be bothered to respond but texts me back next day at 3.

I feel like just putting it on and ignoring her till she has to respond again

First date went good, ended up staying over at her place after a lot of good moves and good chemistry.
