Hey friends. So, I'm very interested in getting a vasectomy. Have been educating myself on the literature for a while now and have been reading accounts from people here and on the main sub about their experiences. Thing is, I just plain and simple don't want kids. I used to think so, but I've realized for a while now that the lifestyle I want does not include a wife and children.

Thing is, I hear that they can deny you the procedure if they don't think you're a proper candidate. This, in my opinion, is complete and utter bullshit. What happened to "control over my own body?" Or does that right not apply to men?

The place I'm interested in has a consultation prior to the procedure. What do I do to make sure that they approve me? Advice on how to handle this?
