You’re doing the right thing by not reacting. I never contact an ex, but if they contact me, I know what to do from experience.

Reasons an ex wants to reconnect with me: 1. Sex 2. See if there’s still a spark 3. Reject me

Want to save yourself time? Escalate quickly over text and invite her over at night only. Be sexual in the text. You’ll know pretty quickly where she stands. If it’s #1, she’ll say yes and come over. If it’s #2, she’ll still come over or she’ll say she wants to hook up but wants to talk as well. #3 will react the same way over text as she did in person. When it’s #3, and you don’t react by being indifferent, she’ll either cut off contact or she’ll apologize and you’ll see if she’s a #1 or #2.

Either way, an ex is an ex for a reason. If you can’t remember the reason, spend a little time with them and you’ll figure out why.
