Long story short, I fell hard for a girl because I was in a new city and feeling lonely. I thought things were going great (didn't read the red flags) and then one night she ended it all and essentially ghosted me. The ex is almost certainly lurking in the shadows. Anyway, it really sucked and I'm not normally an anxious or depressed person but it really hit me this time around... mostly because I was alone on foreign land.

But my brothers! There's hope!

I forced myself to go on a coffee date with another girl. She was great, super hot, funny and easy going... and she even insisted to pay for my smoothie. The date consisted of coffee and her taking me to a hot yoga class... followed by us hooking up in her car later that night.

My point is:
- There were red flags with the first girl, she mentioned the ex, anxiety, daddy issues etc and I ignored them

- I cooked and she never even offered to do the dishes
- She never paid for anything, not even a coffee

- And she would suggest going to a bar and drinking... never anything positive, this was probably a reflection of her mind state

.... safe to say, it hurt at the time (still does a little) but I think I dodged a bullet.

If you're suffering from Oneitis Syndrome, get yourself out there! There are good women and lot's of them. Meet as many as you can, enjoy as many as you can and start to learn about how the female mind works!
